I am taking a sabatical. That does not mean I'm not reading posts. I felt I needed to answer this one.  Is that a problem?   Did I hurt your feelings?

I was not mocking you.  I don't have time for jesting or foolish talk either.  I was looking at the practicality of what you said.  If you said we are christs, then I tried to imagine "christ" after our names, just as Jesus Christ or Jesus the Anointed (according to your meaning of christ).  I agree with you that Jesus sent us out but he did more than what you quoted above.  He came to die for our sins and had that measure of that anointing to do so as well.  We have the anointing to heal the sick etc but that is it.  We do not have the full measure of Jesus anointing.

In that 'Christ' is not Jesus' last name....Jesus Christ simply means  Jesus the anointed one and His anointing....If we are anointed too, with the same anointing, you could be called Couppy Christ  LOL but it sounds funny.  'Christ is a greek word that for some reason was not translated in the bible.

You're not anointed to preach the gospel?  Yes you are, You're not anointed to deliver people from demons?  Yes you are.  You have the same anointing as Jesus.

Jesus the anointed means Jesus stands above us all and was consecrated to fulfil a special mission   I have the anointing to do what God has called me to do but it is limited to what he has called me to do.  Jesus is the anointed one.
