One has to wonder at the actual logic and motivation behind this kind of militancy from the Gay movement. This is not the 1950's. There are plenty of Liberal denominations out their where a gay person who wants to also be "religious" could go, appropriate the label of "christian" and not have to change virtually anything about their lifestyle. So why would they be attacking denominations like the SBC? It cannot be because of some concern for students or children. There are also all kinds of Liberal, gay-affirming seminaries they could attend so that is not the actual problem either. Could it possibly be simply because an organization that will not cave to their pressure irritates them and thus, must be forced to conform to their beliefs ? They call for tolerance but they don't tolerate Christian faith that calls their lifestyle sin. They demand their rights but they refuse to allow others the right to have an opinion . Going so far as to make death threats against Christian business owners. Vandalize those businesses. Even harassing the mental health field for the listing of homosexuality and body dysmorphic disorder, "transgenderism", as mental illness. Causing through those tactics the APA to alter future listings in future publications of their Diagnostic and Statistics Manual. How does that make sense. Intolerant threatening communities of people threaten the American Psychiatric Association. Demonstrating a mental dysfunction just in that. And the APA caves? I think the LGBTQS want to destroy the security Christians have had in this country since its inception. Because the righteous moral teachings of the faith, unlike any other religious practice, draw a clear demarcation so as to identify right and wrong. Which makes conflict for a hedonist minded community of persons anywhere. Notice they don't target other religious?
