I guess Bernie the Socialist doesn't understand that limiting the opportunities of someone based on their personal beliefs is contrary to freedom in the form of, the pursuit of happiness.

It has been said many times on this forum that Muslims should not be allowed to hold certain jobs within the government.

Actually it was said that Muslims who live by Sharia law should not hold jobs in the government, especially in the legislature..  Sharia law is another law and ideologically contrary to the Constitution.    We don't want Muslims in out government in places where they could influence the implementation of any aspect of Sharia law.

The implementation of Sharia would be an usurpation of our Constitution.

I have never said any such thing.  I would think considering previous conversations you know my stance regarding liberty and the freedoms of Americans.  In regards to this specifically though, I would say it is very unwise to elect someone who wants Sharia Law into a government position.  The reason I say that is because Sharia wants to usurp the Constitution, so in my opinion those of that mindset are not loyal to America, therefore not qualified for the position.

:( It is beginning to look like Nancy Pelosi isn't the only one that should step down and out of politics due to mental infirmity.

Bernie Sanders should get a copy of Torcaso v. Watkins.  There is no religious test required to be appointed to office, or work for the government on the federal or state level.
