Matthew 25:13, Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Mark 13:32, But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Luke 12:40, Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

These three Scriptures covers it quite well :thumbsup:

And I even said please.   :emot-fail:

Exploring Prophetic Mysteries

 With Daniel Speck 8.12.16   Home

Why Jesus will return in the year 2030

Based on a number of clues given in the Scriptures, we can expect Jesus Christ to return in 2030. Some Scriptures that point to this particular year:

This like every other prophetic guess through out the past two thousand years is nothing more than a guess, and they have all failed.

Because Jesus Himself said, no one knows, only the Father, meaning even Jesus does not know the day, the hour or the year. He will know when the Father tells Him to return, and that will be when the Father decides it is the right time for Jesus to return, not before.

Did you read how he arrived at 2030?  It's a simple idea that's been around a while and in my view far more credible than the 70th week stuff.  In fact, 2030 has been a year many people have arrived at out of simplicity and a few compelling scriptures.

I'm far more leary of people like Thomas Ice or Jack Van Impe and the like.

Daniel Speck has the date right, but the details wrong. It is from Jesus' commencement of His ministry, in 29/30 AD that the 2000 year church era commenced. Luke 13:32

Also he and most others forget that a lot has to happen before that glorious Day Jesus Returns, and that Day is not the one that comes as a thief. The unexpected Day will be the next event: the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster by fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis, that will reset our civilization, resulting in a One World Govt and all us Christians going to live in all of the holy Land. Psalm 37:29, Isaiah 56:1-8, Romans 9:24-26

According to the popular belief, Jesus is going to reign 1000 years in person, presumably right after the last of the plagues. The earth is going to look something like, to be honest, after reading the following it would be anyone's guess as to what it would look like, but one thing for sure, it will be uninhabitable.

Isaiah 24:19
 ‭The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.‭ Isaiah 24:20
 ‭The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.‭

Isaiah 13:13
 ‭Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.‭

Jeremiah 4:23
 ‭I beheld the earth, and, lo, ‭it was‭ without form, and void; and the heavens, and they ‭had‭ no light.‭  4:24
 ‭I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.‭  4:25
 ‭I beheld, and, lo, ‭there was‭ no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. 4:26
 ‭I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place ‭was‭ a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, ‭and‭ by his fierce anger.‭

Shabbat shalom, brakelite.

Universalisms are fouling your theology, specifically your eschatology.

These verses that you have chosen are NOT universal! They were specific; they were said about a specific time and a specific people:

Look at them IN ORDER:

Isaiah 13:1-22
13:1 This is a prophecy about Bavel (Babylon), which Yesha‘yahu the son of Amotz saw:

2 Hoist a banner on a high mountain,
shout to [the invaders];
beckon them to enter the Nobles’ Gate.
3 “I have ordered my holy ones,
summoned my heroes, eager and bold,
to execute my anger.”
4 Listen! A tumult on the mountains —
it sounds like a vast multitude!
Listen! The uproar of the kingdoms
of the nations gathering together!
Adonai-Tzva’ot is mustering
an army for war.
5 They come from a distant land,
from beyond the horizon.
It’s Adonai, with the weapons of his rage,
to lay waste to all the earth.
6 Howl! for the Day of Adonai is at hand,
destruction coming from Shaddai.
7 This is why every arm will hang limp
and everyone’s courage melt away.
8 They will be gripped by panic,
seized with pain and agony,
writhing like a woman in labor,
looking aghast at each other, faces aflame.
9 Here comes the Day of Adonai,
full of cruelty, rage and hot fury,
to desolate the earth
and destroy the sinners in it.
10 For the stars, the constellations in the sky,
will no longer give their light;
the sun will be dark when it rises;
and the moon will no longer shine.

11 “I will punish the world for its evil
and the wicked for their iniquity.
I will end the arrogance of the proud
and humble the insolence of tyrants.
12 I will make humans rarer than gold,
scarcer than Ofir’s pure gold.
13 This is why I will make the heavens tremble,
and the earth will be shaken from its place
at the wrath of Adonai-Tzva’ot
on the day of his fierce anger.
14 Then, like a hunted gazelle,
like sheep with no one to gather them,
everyone will head back to his own people;
everyone will flee to his own land.
15 Anyone found will be pierced through;
anyone caught will fall by the sword,
16 their babies dashed to pieces before their eyes,
their houses looted, their wives raped.
17 I will stir up against them the Medes,
who cannot be tempted by silver
or bought off with gold.
18 Their bows will tear young men to pieces,
they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb,
their eye will not spare children.”

9 Thus Bavel (Babylon), that jewel of kingdoms,
the pride and glory of the Kasdim (Chaldeans)
,
will be like S’dom and ‘Amora
when overthrown by God.
20 It will never again be inhabited,
never lived in through all generations.
Arabs will not pitch tents there
nor shepherds bring their flocks.
21 But wildcats will lie there,
their houses will be full of owls,
ostriches will live there,
and wild goats will dance there.
22 Jackals will howl in their palaces
and wild dogs in their temples of delight.
Its time is close at hand,
its days will not last long.
CJB

See, the thing to remember is that the Hebrew word "erets" translated "earth" typically means "land," NOT THE ENTIRE PLANET! Only if it says, "all the lands" or "every land," does it refer to the entire earth!

OT:776 'erets (eh'-rets); from an unused root probably meaning to be firm; the earth (at large, or partitively a land):
KJV - X common, country, earth, field, ground, land, X nations, way, + wilderness, world.

(Biblesoft's New Exhaustive Strong's Numbers and Concordance with Expanded Greek-Hebrew Dictionary. Copyright © 1994, 2003, 2006 Biblesoft, Inc. and International Bible Translators, Inc.)

Therefore, not every time that you see the word "earth" is it talking about the "globe!" MOST of the time it is talking about a "land!" Indeed, most of the occurrences of the word are talking about the "Land" of Israel!

That's also true for your Isaiah 24:19-20 passage:

Isa 24:1-23
1 Look! Adonai is stripping
and destroying the land
,
turning it upside down
and scattering its inhabitants —
2 cohen (priest) and commoner, slave and master,
maid and mistress, buyer and seller,
lender and borrower, creditor and debtor.
3 The land will be completely stripped,
completely plundered
,
for Adonai has spoken this word.
4 The land fades and withers,
the world (flood plain) wilts and withers,
the exalted of the land languish.
5 The land lies defiled under its inhabitants;
because they have transgressed the teachings,
changed the law
and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore a curse is devouring the land,
and its inhabitants are punished for their guilt.

It is why those living there waste away,
and the people left are few.
7 The new wine fails, the vines wilt,
all the revelers sigh,
8 the happy sound of tambourines ceases,
the shouts of merrymakers are stilled,
the joy of the lyre ends.

9 They no longer sing as they drink their wine,
strong liquor tastes bitter to those drinking it.
10 The city of chaos is shattered,
every house closed up; no one can enter.
11 In the streets they are crying over the wine;
all joy has faded, cheer has left the land.
12 In the city, only desolation,
its gates are battered beyond repair.

[a glimpse into the future]
13 Around the earth, among the peoples,
it will be as when beating an olive tree,
as when gleaning the grapes at the end of the harvest.
14 They lift their voices, singing for joy,
shouting from the west to honor Adonai.
15 So in the east, honor Adonai ;
in the coastlands, honor the name of Adonai,
the God of Isra’el.
16 From the farthest part of the earth
we have heard them sing,
“Glory to the Righteous One!”

[back to Isaiah's present]
But, I say, I’m wasting away,
I am wasting away!
Woe to me! Traitors betray!
Oh, how the traitors betray and betray!
17 Terror, pit and trap are upon you,
you who are living on earth.
18 He who flees at the sound of terror
will fall into the pit.
He who climbs up out of the pit
will be caught in the trap.
For the windows above have been opened, [it's raining hard]
and the earth’s foundations shake. [an earthquake]
19 The earth cracks and breaks open,
the earth crumbles to pieces,
the earth trembles and totters.
20 The earth staggers to and fro like a drunk,
sways back and forth like a watchman’s shelter;
its transgression weighs heavy upon it;
it will fall and not rise again.

[Isaiah gets another glimpse of the future]
21 When that day [Hebrew: bayowm hahuw = "in-day the-he/one"] comes, Adonai will punish
the armies of the high heaven (the [Golan] heights) on high (on the height),
and the kings of the earth (ground) here on earth (ground).
22 They will be assembled like prisoners in a dungeon
and shut up in prison to be punished many years.
23 Then the moon will be confused and the sun ashamed,
for Adonai-Tzva’ot will rule on Mount Tziyon
and in Yerushalayim,
with his glory manifest to the rulers of his people.
CJB

And, I believe we've already discussed Jeremiah 4, which has to do with JEREMIAH'S time, not in the distant past!

Jeremiah 4:5-28
5 “Announce in Y’hudah (Judah), proclaim in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem);
say: ‘Blow the shofar in the land!’

Shout the message aloud: ‘Assemble!
Let us go to the fortified cities!’
6 Set up a signal toward Tziyon (Zion),
head for cover without delay.

For I will bring disaster from the north,
yes, dire destruction.
7 A lion (Nebuchadnezzar) has risen from his lair,
a destroyer of nations has set out,
left his own place to ruin your land,
to demolish and depopulate your cities.”

8 So wrap yourselves in sackcloth,
lament and wail, for Adonai’s fierce anger
has not turned away from us.

9 “When that day comes,” says Adonai,
“the king’s heart will fail him,
likewise the princes’;
the cohanim (priests) will be appalled
and the prophets stupefied.”

10 Then I said, “Oh, Adonai Elohim! Surely you have sadly deceived this people and Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ when the sword is at our very throats!”

11 “At that time it will be said
of this people and of Yerushalayim:
‘A scorching wind from the desert heights
is sweeping down on my people.’
It is not coming to winnow or cleanse;
12 this wind of mine is too strong for that.
Now I will pass sentence on them.”

13 Here he comes, like the clouds,
his chariots like the whirlwind,
his horses faster than eagles!
Woe to us, we are doomed!
14 Wash the evil from your heart, Yerushalayim,
so that you can be saved.
How long will you harbor within yourselves
your evil thoughts?
15 For a voice is announcing the news from Dan (in Galilee of the north),
proclaiming disaster from the hills of Efrayim (the northern parts of the "West Bank"):

16 “Report it to the nations,
proclaim about Yerushalayim:
‘[Enemies] are coming from a distant country,
watching and shouting their war cry
against the cities of Y’hudah.’

17 Like guards in a field they surround her,
because she has rebelled against me,” says Adonai.
18 “Your own ways and your actions
have brought these things on yourselves.
This is your wickedness, so bitter!
It has reached your very heart.”

19 My guts! My guts! I’m writhing in pain!
My heart! It beats wildly — I can’t stay still! —
because I have heard the shofar sound;
it’s the call to war.
20 The news is disaster after disaster!
All the land is ruined!
My tents are suddenly destroyed,
my tent curtains in an instant.
21 How long must I see that signal
and hear the shofar sound?

22 “It is because my people are foolish —
they do not know me; they are stupid children,
without understanding, wise when doing evil;
but they don’t know how to do good.”

23 I looked at the land — it was unformed and void —
and at the sky — it had no light.
24 I looked at the mountains, and they shook (wavered in the heat and smoke) —
all the hills moved back and forth.
25 I looked, and there was no human being;
all the birds in the air had fled.
26 I looked, and the fertile fields were a desert,
all the land’s cities were razed to the ground

at the presence of Adonai,
before his burning anger.

27 For here is what Adonai says:

The whole land will be desolate
(although I will not destroy it completely).

28 Because of this, the land will mourn
and the sky above be black;
for I have spoken, I have decided,
I will not change my mind, I will not turn back.”
CJB

Why do we always have to read into the Scriptures more than the authors and the Author had to say?

Shabbat shalom to all.

Despite my previous post, I will ALWAYS believe that the Millennium will occur as the FIRST 1000 years of the Messiah's Kingdom. But, we are told about the Messiah Yeshua`,

Luke 1:32-33
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
KJV

A "time of peace?" Only for those who love the LORD and His Messiah! It will be a time when the Messiah, then also the Melekh (King) of Israel, will CONQUER His enemies, SUBDUING them, and putting them "under His feet." (1 Cor. 15:20-28.) "The Millennial day theory, or the Sabbath millennium theory," is "a theory in Christian eschatology in which the Second Coming of Christ will occur 6,000 years after the creation of mankind, followed by 1,000 years of peace and harmony. It is a very popular belief accepted by certain premillennialists who usually promote young earth creationism." Well, within His growing Kingdom, there will be "peace and harmony," but outside His Kingdom there will be quite a different story!

I believe in both premillennialism, that is, that the Messiah will come before the Millennium begins, and in young earth creationism, that is, that God created the earth in six literal days, as recounted in Genesis 1-2. I've believed that since I came to similar conclusions as did James Ussher, the Archbishop of Armagh (Church of Ireland), whose chronology I've read in the Scofield Reference edition of the KJV. With slight modifications, I believe, too, that Adam was created in the early 4000's B.C. and that it may be proven by Scripture. Between those calculations and the fact that the Jews today - the "People of the Book" - reckon that we are in the year 5777 since Creation, a young earth is the Biblical way to think.

For all the various theories, models, and exceptions to their models, Evolutionists are hard put to prove ANY of what they conclude! To the contrary, the facts of science prove just the OPPOSITE of evolution, supporting sudden catastrophism rather than long epochs of uniformitarianism! Those who have studied this will know this to be true; those who haven't studied it will take the Enemy's bait, "hook, line, and sinker!" In fact, Evolution was INVENTED PURPOSEFULLY to take God out of the picture! That was the very GOAL of humanistic atheism when they INVENTED this "theory." However, they have ALWAYS had insurmountable obstacles to overcome: the lack of transition fossils, the non-life to life transition, and the sudden appearance of NUMEROUS and VARIOUS fossils all at once in the fossil record! NONE of that can be adequately answered by the premises of Evolution!

The Creationist's model is refined in the careful study of Genesis 1 and 2, but the only modification that has been introduced to that model is the Great Flood of Noach's 600th year, a global Flood that lasted for a whole YEAR, although the rain stopped after 40 days and 40 nights!

Why believe someone for whom it was impossible to know the truth? Daniel 12:10 plainly says that the prophesies are sealed until the time of the end. Obviously Ussher wasn't at that time and all the prophecy experts before now are in the same category.

I think you have seen the timeline I have, with all the times as given in the Bible added to give a date for Adam of 3970 BC. Post #13

Why even discuss whether there will be a Millennium reign of Jesus?  The Bible clearly states it. Revelation 20

Shalom, Keras.

Good point. I don't know; I just have an undying hope for those who believe otherwise.

Yeah, Ussher said it was 4004 B.C. for Adam, as listed in the center margin of the Scofield Reference Bible, but there are qualifiers.

You are right, however, Revelation 20 states it as well as 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, and 2 Peter 3:3-13 implies it.

We who trust in the Lord and are Bible believers can and should know what He has planned for our future. Paul says: 1 Thessalonians 5:4 You; friends are not in the dark, that Day will not come upon you like a thief. Revelation 1:1 The Lord has revealed His plans to His servants.

We believe that God’s Word is inerrant and complete as presented to us in the Holy Scriptures, therefore it is not right to ignore parts of it, or to say: that must have already happened, and:  that does not apply to us, excepting for the obvious.

To hold onto beliefs that do not have solid Bible support, like looking to the Return of Jesus as the next event, or a ‘rapture’ out of this world, is a serious error and may result in some disadvantage for you. The attitude of “I trust in the Lord for protection” is correct, but barely adequate when He has given us so much warning and information.

The actual end times events will surprise and shock those who didn’t bother to gain understanding, even though they will dramatically affect everyone.

The unfortunate part about not knowing our future, is that we miss out on the anticipation of the wonderful and amazing promises that the Lord has made to His people, those who keep His Laws and honour and praise their Creator, every faithful Christian.

Now, there is a great proliferation of end times misinformation, books, movies, internet, etc. Hopefully people can see through the commercialization and profit making opportunities of these times. But, the biggest problems for church goers is the lack of preaching about prophecy and the adherence to inadequate Bible translations. How can we properly understand something written 400 years ago? So many Bibles have, at best a translators bias and at worst actual changes to suit certain doctrines.

People quote Matthew 24:36 ...no one knows the day or hour... omitting the full quote, that is; verse 35-36 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will never pass away. Yet about THAT Day and hour no one knows...    Then Jesus goes on to talk about His Return – an event we definitely can know, that will be exactly 1260 days after the Anti Christ desecrates the Temple. The verse that explain Matthew 24:35-36 belong at the time of the end of the Millennium, as Revelation 20:11 says: heaven and earth will flee... at the Great White Throne Judgement.

Why has God given us so many end time prophecies if we can only know afterwards?

To say that it is impossible to know the timing of soon to happen prophesied events, results in a contradiction of Scripture, as several prophets say that we can know God’s plans. Psalms 25:14, Isaiah 46:10, Isaiah 48:16, Amos 3:7, 2 Peter 1:19, Revelation 1:1

Luke 22:34-36 Be on your guard, do not let your minds be dulled by worldly cares, so that the great Day catches you by surprise, like a trap, for that Day will come on everyone, the whole world over. Be alert and pray for strength to pass safely through all that is coming and to be able to stand before Jesus.

 This Bible passage is not about the Day of the Return, but the great Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, a worldwide fire judgement, the next prophesied event.

We are actually given time periods, figures that many people have grappled with and always come up with incorrect results, because up until now, God has not wanted mankind to know. Now, as we near the ‘two days’ / 2000 years of the church age, we Christians should be at least aware of forthcoming events

Shalom, Keras.

Assuming, of course, that "the Anti Christ desecrates the Temple." Sorry, but I don't think one should make this assumption. This is ALL based on an improper interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27.

Daniel 9:20-27
20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God;
21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.
22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.
23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.
24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
KJV

People naturally assume (why?) that the "he" in verse 27 refers back to "the prince that shall come" in verse 26. It CANNOT! Neither by the rules of English grammar nor by the rules of Hebrew grammar can the "he" in verse 27 refer back to "the prince that shall come." It MUST refer back to the "Messiah" of verse 26.

ENGLISH GRAMMAR:

The "he" is the pronoun SUBJECT in the sentences of verse 27. It must refer back to the noun that is the SUBJECT in the previous sentence. However, "the prince that shall come" is the OBJECT of the preposition "of!" As the object of the preposition, it CANNOT be the subject of the previous sentence! It is the word "Messiah" that is the subject of the sentence. The subsequent clause after the colon has "the people" as that clause's subject! Even the two conjoined clauses that follow, namely "the end thereof shall be with a flood" and "unto the end of the war desolations are determined," have subordinate subjects of the "end" and "desolations." The only singular, masculine, personal subject in the whole sentence is "Messiah." Therefore, the "he" found three times in verse 27 refers back to "Messiah" in verse 26.

HEBREW GRAMMAR:

The Hebrew phrase translated as "the people of the prince," is "`am naagiyd." It is called a "noun construct state." The second noun in the construct state is subordinate to the first noun, and cannot be the subject of the sentence. As such, it also cannot be the subject of the following verbs in verse 27 following, which have no other associated nouns. Therefore, the next closest singular, person who could fit the verbs of verse 27 is "mashiyach" in verse 26.

In BOTH grammars, neither support the "prince" being the "he" of verse 27. The "Messiah" is the "he."

This tells us that...

It is the Messiah that "shall confirm the covenant with many for one week," that "shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease in the midst of the week," and that "shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, for the overspreading of abominations."

The covenant that He confirmed with many for one week (one Seven = seven years) is the Davidic Covenant (not the New Covenant, as many assume):

2 Samuel 7:1-17
1 And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD (YHVH) had given him rest round about from all his enemies;
2 That the king said unto Nathan the prophet, See now, I dwell in an house of cedar, but the ark of God dwelleth within curtains.

3 And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the LORD is with thee.

4 And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan, saying,
5 Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?
6 Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.
7 In all the places wherein I have walked with all the children of Israel spake I a word with any of the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to feed my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of cedar?
8 Now therefore so shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I took thee from the sheepcote, from following the sheep, to be ruler over my people, over Israel:
9 And I was with thee whithersoever thou wentest, and have cut off all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men that are in the earth.
10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,
11 And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
16 And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

17 According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
KJV

Later, David said,

Psalm 89:1-52
1 I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.
2 For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.
3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations.
Selah.
5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.
6 For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.
8 O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?
9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
10 Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.
11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12 The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
13 Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.
14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
15 Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.
16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.
17 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.
18 For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
19 Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.
20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.
22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.
23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
26 He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
33 Nevertheless my lovingkindness (Hebrew: checed = "covenant-keeping love") will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.
36 His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me.
37 It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven.
Selah.
38 But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.
39 Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.
40 Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.
41 All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.
42 Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.
43 Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.
44 Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.
45 The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.
46 How long, Lord? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?
47 Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?
48 What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.
49 Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?
50 Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;
51 Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Lord; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.
52 Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
KJV

And, we read this about Yeshua`:

Luke 1:30-33
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS (Greek: Ieesous = Hebrew: Yeshua` = "He shall save").
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
KJV

Regarding the "seven years," this was David's history:

2 Samuel 5:4-5
4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.
5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.
KJV

1 Chronicles 3:1-4
1 Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:
2 The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:
3 The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.
4 These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.
KJV

1 Chronicles 29:27
27 And the time that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
KJV

He was born "King of the Jews" (Matthew 2:2), and He died with the epitaph, "This is Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews" (Matthew 27:37; Mark 15:26; Luke 23:38; John 19:19), but He was NEVER declared "King of Israel." The Jews are the people of the tribe of Judah. By checking the contextual clues for Passovers, one can discover that Yeshua`s short "ministry" (His offer of the Kingdom to the Jews), was only 3.5 years long, from the time of His birthday (around Rosh haShannah) when He was 30 to the time of His death (at Passover) when He was 33 years old.

Secondly, HE was the One who caused the sacrifice and the oblation to cease in the midst of the week:

Hebrews 10:1-22
1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
KJV

Thirdly, HE is the One who left them "desolate":

Matthew 23:33-39
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34 Wherefore,
behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: (THESE are the "overspreading of abominations!")
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
KJV

I know this has been long, but THIS is how Yeshua` the Messiah can be the fulfillment of Daniel 9:27.
