A report in Finnish media Yle Uutiset says the conversions are estimated to be several hundred in recent years within the country's Evangelical Lutheran Church. The converts are from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and other countries, and the denomination's parishes have established special confirmation classes for the Muslim immigrants seeking to become Christian. When I saw the article title I thought it was like in the last couple of days. But I can see that it has happened for a course of several years. My other thought is I am sure it isn't just in Finland but in other countries as well. So this questions comes up, why do we have an article about it for Finland? What about the US? Canada?
