Since we know the Shriners are a part of the Masons, is it right to contribute to Shriner's Hospitals?

Anyway back to the topic. I don't know your reason for asking this. If it is because you want to know if it is okay to give. Or if you are wanting to start a topic of conversation. I would say do as your heart and God directs you to do.

I was just looking for some input.

As always no one on this site is ever willing to learn from anyone else. Instead of learning from someone who has had first hand knowledge, they go look up something on the net that goes along with what they are saying.  The Masons are not a church or a religion.

I agree. There's a "I have the facts, I don't need your opinion/viewpoint" attitude.

Very well. If it is input you want then input you shall get. But I think it is like a lot of other questions that get asked on the forums. You will get a hundred answers. So my advice is in the end,  follow your  own heart.

So,  then,  you don't care what is true about the masons ?  Nor about what Scripture says ?

(the heart is wicked and more deceitful than anything else - so if you follow your heart, opposed to God,

guess where it leads ? (for everyone on earth, not just you)  )

I am going to pose this question to the rest of the people who have reply to the  topic and  ask them if they think this is what I am saying.

I'm pretty sure you posted this >>

Like also several or many other posters (you're not alone at all)....

So instead of the facts (what God says in His Word,  vs and exposing what is known and published widely about the ungodly mason organization )

you (like may other posters) go with opinion (i.e. "your heart") >>

And you apparently already agreed with this yourself, right away >>

Not "picking on you", as it may seem - but showing clearly how important it is to rest on and in God's Word,

and not "opinion", and not one's own "heart" ,  because "opinion" and "heart" are opposed to God's Word so often if not always -

at least they are not ever to be built upon nor depended upon for "facts",  for "truth".

God's Word is TRUTH,  and is unchangeable.

Man's opinions, and man's heart,  are not only flexible and changeable like the wind,  but usually wicked and wrong.

Well no, I am actually going by the facts that I know about the Masons having known a few personally.  As for my "follow your heart" comment. It is just another way of me saying "follow how the Holy Spirit directs you. As I feel many of our questions on what we should do in life can be answered by seeking out the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is also my believe that following the direction of God and the Holy Spirit does not always line up with what other well meaning, helpful people are telling us to do. As I believe God has a plan for all of us and some times things need to happen in order for the plan to be carried out. Some of those things may not line up with what people are telling you you should do.

Well I think I covered the "opinion" part by explaining I was point out "facts" which are not "opinions".   But also I do not understand why you are accusing me of going against God's word and all of that stuff. Like I posted. I am not telling any one that a Christian should join the Masons. After all I didn't think I should join the women's branch of it.  I just wanted to clarify that Masons are not "evil" and our not enemy.
