Jesus planted seeds from Israel they scattered disciples and shared their faith. That's why Israel is one of the blessed people because Jesus chose them to scattered into all nations and baptized and believed into him. Even whatever religion you are as long as you follow God's word you are worthy to be called chosen.

Welcome.

New International Version - Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Matthew 28:16-20

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, " All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.

God chose the Israelis to produce the human side of Christ through Mary, blessed among women.  He chose Abraham because Abe heeded God's voice in faith, trusting God even to believe He could raise the dead to fulfill His promises.  All who receive Jesus as the Messiah may be born again of the Holy Spirit and are now worthy to be call chosen.  This includes people of all denominations and all individuals who believe, trusting in God's Scriptures the way Abraham trusted God's word, who have received Jesus as raised from the dead:  God With Us Immanuel.

I think that is what you said.  God first revealed Himself to the Jews, and through Jesus, and to the disciples who were Jews.  They are God's chosen people but most rejected Him.  Now all who receive Him can become God's chosen people.
