We let people burn the flag, and now they are burning and tearing down historical monuments of not only Confederates like General Lee, but now George Washington and Jefferson and Lincoln are targets. The issue of slavery is being used as a pretext for a much more sinister agenda. These statues have been around for a long time, a century and a half and no one said "boo" about any of them ,until now. Now, all of a sudden, we have the flash flood of self-righteous social justice warriors who want to erase American history but they have to do it by hiding their true agenda behind some fake outrage about the Confederacy and slavery.
