I don't know if there is already a thread on this but...what was your eclipse experience?

I am sitting here and instead of 10:22am is it like 8:30pm. It definitely has gotten darker. It is not totally dark.

Right now it's very bright, and I can see quiet well, I have all the lights on, with one cataract and glasses. But, looking through the window to out side my shop, I can see daylight. At least in my right eye, and eclipse in my left one. Actually, I always see an eclipse in that one............:D

I'm in the 90% band.  Cloud cover has dampened the effect.  It never really got dark, no more than normal cloud cover.  I saw some stunning images on the Internet.

We have a beautiful day here for watching an eclipse. Not a cloud in the sky.

I sure hope the number is few.  Damage to the retina and macular is very serious.  I have eye damage to both but the cause is unknown.

Wow the roaches are out, sugar ants are going crazy, and bats are flying into the windows.

Actually there is nothing going on the temperature is 89 it is full bright sun, though if one does look the sun is 80% blocked the moon reducing it to a thin crescent. Evidently normally we have more sun than we need. If that is the case and we can be warmed by only 20% sun where does that excess energy go on a typical day?

We are still here general, by gosh we are still here!

And there is no cure.

We live in the country with a lot of farm animals around. I did hear some goats and cows and some other animals verbally giving their concern. I wonder what affect this eclipse had on the animals?
