Hello, everyone

Two or three years ago is was in the right direction regarding the word of God and was free in spirit, however the circumstances have changed i feel i have fallen off the wagon. How can i start building myself spiritual life again, prayerful lifestyle and living the word of God.

Thank you!

Shalom Benevolent,

Welcome to WCF.  I moved your topic to the Inner Court section.

You know when you fall down -- you just pick yourself back up -- and press forward once again.  For me, I separated myself with spending time in His Word, Prayer and Fasting.  I believe that's a good place to start.

God bless,

George

Do what you did in beginning that first brought you close to God. Think about how you got on the wagon to start with, remind yourself of that, it should help. Being of Jesus is a lifelong journey. I think we have all fallen off the wagon at least once, those of us who have been believers many years.

If you have favorite scriptures or books of the Bible, read them. Avoid anything that that causes questions. Sometimes that includes people and places. If you sincerely want to be on the wagon again you will get there. You're just going through a trial, a rough patch, we all do. you'll get past it.

Like others have said prayer and reading the word. Draw near to God. Also the Lord's supper. Taken part in that brings you nearer to God. God's blessings on you..

As Jesus told His disciples,   you cannot do this yourself, nor if thinking you can... Jesus tells His disciples: If you think you can make it, you have failed already,

but if you trust in your heavenly Father to accomplish your salvation(in every way, so many ways we are saved from )

AND everything concerning salvation in this life and in the life to come,  it is ALREADY DONE. (truly, we can rest in Him,   though we work "harder" than ever then :) as we serve HIM) ....
