Does anything in the Bible state that for you one way or another? It will be nice to read some factual assertion of how tall was Adam. Maybe you have some Bible reference to share? His question actually did make sense. Actually, he only ask the first question of interest, to me. I assumed Adam was like us. Average height. I haven't actually thought about it. Do you actually know how tall Adam was, based on scripture? The bible scripture, that is.

I don't know of a scripture that gives Adams height, but I will agree with you that he was probably an average height. The real reason why I post the words of the pedophile prophet Muhammad is to expose the evil hateful religion of Islam. A Child Bride The Hadith Bukhari Vol. V, No. 234: Narrated Aisha: The Prophet was engaged to me when I was a girl six years old…. I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends…. Unexpectedly Allah’s Apostle came to me in the afternoon and my mother handed me over to him. At that time I was a girl of nine years of age. Bukhari Vol. V, No. 236: The Prophet … married Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age and consummated that marriage when she was nine years old. How long did you debate as to post this comment or not. Did you take the thought captive, and decide where it came from. It wasn't the Holy Spirit. Are you trying to show us where your head is? Someone authorized will be by to take care of it. You got your moment of fame. Sorry for the suggestiveness, however I did use proper medical language. Those are not my words, it started with nutcase Muhammad. Seems an odd choice of unit. If cubit was of Egyptian origin from around 3000 BC and was the royal cubit the measure of a pharaoh's forearm and hand length from elbow to fingertip. It may have been 18 inches or some other length. Sixty such Cubits would indeed be some 90 feet plus or minus. If I am to be a young earth theorist, and I am, I kind of wonder if I should find some evidence of 90 foot tall remains even though they would be pre-flood remnants, perhaps fossilized bits. Adam may have lived some 900 plus years, and would have been alive to know of Methuselah, but not the great flood. After the flood life span dropped dramatically. See an interesting page or two at https://answersingenesis.org/bible-timeline/genealogy/did-adam-and-noah-really-live-over-900-years/ Now we are told there were giants in the land, that reference is thought to be by some of angelic beings , lending some credence to the idea of larger beings than man yet able to perceive and desire human females. Were human females of some grander proportion than today and did they live longer lives? Are we all shrinking as well as living shorter lifespans? Seems to me we are growing ever so slightly, being larger than our immediate ancestors from this side of the great flood. But what of before it? Ah does the proportions of the ark of Noah suggest humans, his family were of some greater physical stature? No? No evidence there? But where is this 90 foot human creation of God, or anything like it? The idea of the earth being larger today, and therefore the human now smaller is hard to follow, least it is for me. The idea that the universe is expanding all the time, that planets are further apart and also larger doesn't in my mind translate into humans also thus look smaller today than they once did. Unless, the unit of measure was also in flux! And, the cubit though always the length between finger tip and elbow, was also not constant at all. Might it be that 60 cubits of the time of Adam is our six feet of today? Just having some fun here- Edited October 12, 2017 by Neighbor

Might it be that 60 cubits of the time of Adam is our six feet of today? Just having some fun here- Cubit was used way back when God gave Moses instructions how to build the Ark before the great flood. Gen_6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. Exo_25:10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. Exo_25:17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. Exo_25:23 Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. Exo_26:13 And a cubit on the one side, and a cubit on the other side of that which remaineth in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. Exo_26:16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a board, and a cubit and a half shall be the breadth of one board. Exo_30:2 A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same. Exo_36:21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half. Exo_37:1 And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it: Exo_37:6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof. Exo_37:10 And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof: Exo_37:25 And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same. Deu_3:11 For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man. Jdg_3:16 But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh. 1Ki_7:24 And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast. 1Ki_7:31 And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round. 1Ki_7:32 And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit. 1Ki_7:35 And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same. 2Ch_4:3 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast. Eze_40:5 And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. Eze_40:12 The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. Eze_40:42 And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. Eze_42:4 And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north. Eze_43:13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar. Eze_43:14 And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit. Eze_43:17 And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east. Mat_6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Luk_12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
