(Worthy News) - President Trump tweeted Thursday that he did not make a deal with Democrats for children brought to the U.S. illegally, but indicated he has no desire to deport them.

“No deal was made last night on DACA. Massive border security would have to be agreed to in exchange for consent. Would be subject to vote,” Mr. Trumptweeted referring to the Obama-era immigration program Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, known as DACA.

Mr. Trump hosted Democratic leaders at the White House Wednesday night for a dinner on immigration reform. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. yet, doubles down on border wall

I'll have to admit, this has me baffled.

Pres. Trump HAS to know that the establishment/ruling party is NEVER going to allow THE WALL to be built.

Yet - he keeps bringing it up.

At what point I wonder will he concede?

After the '18 elections?

Blessings,

-Ed

And he may get them voted out of office in the next primary elections if they don't give us the wall.

We, not the establishment, will decide if there is a wall.

if he wants it done enough he will make it happen. just depends on how hard he wants to work for it.

Using his own money, maybe?  Because Congress already funded it over 10 years ago, and it's still not built.

I think 'The Wall' has become a symbol - a rallying cry - of frustration.  The frustration at the gall of the ruling class to not even put up any effort to stem the tide of illegal immigration.

Election cycles have come and gone.  Politicians have made promise upon promise.  As soon as they get to DC, however, their promises .become null and void.

I'm not sure what President Trump's end game is in this.  But he has to know that the wall is not going to be built.

Blessings,

-Ed

People said he couldn't win the primaries, he did. They said he couldn't win the general, he did. No he could do it-even find the money for it. I have no doubt that he could find a way to fund it and ramrod it through congress.

The question is not ability, the question is whether he will or not.

There are companies that have been given contracts to develop proposals for the construction of the wall. It is being worked on. Its a promise that trump is trying to keep, despite the stonewalling of congress.

Sorry not proposals, but prototypes.

http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/31/politics/trump-border-wall-prototypes/index.html

The company in tempe is a large local company, one whose trucks I routinely see at construction sites around my state, with a good reputation. So this isnt a lame attempt to build the wall.
