With a ton of whipped cream on it :D

and my friends think I'm odd for this, but it has to be SUPER cold. I don't know why but if it isn't cold I just don't enjoy it the same.

Those look delicious, HF!  I love using pumpkin in breads and such.... yum!

I was told a couple years ago that pumpkin falls in the category of a thermogenic food.... so I used to use it in smoothies. :)

I used to do a pumpkin no-bake cheese cake .... can't remember the exact recipe, but it uses a graham cracker crust... the filling uses cream cheese, vanilla pudding mix, whipping cream, pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice.... you just mix the ingredients and pour int the graham cracker crust, cover  and put it in the freezer....

I absolutely Love cheesecake...but..pumpkin..? Now that's different!

I made an Oreo cheesecake the other day, wow I put on weight just looking at it!!:emot-nod:

My mother used to bake a Pumpkin cheesecake... it was actually very good!

I admit I ordered that frequently at Italian Restaurant chain. Pumpkin Cheesecake is nice blend of the tartness of pumpkin and the sweetness of cheesecake.

Hi Ted,

Mums can make anything taste good!!

It's  obviously an American thing to use the pumpkin as a dessert ingredient - not so in Aus. The most desserty type pumpkin food is the pumpkin scones (your biscuits) with jam(your jelly) and whipped cream.

Whaat??? no pumpkin pie with whipped cream?

No, never!

We have it savoury - mashed pumpkin with meat or roasted or cooked and cold in a salad but not as dessert....it's not the 'done thing' in Australia:26:

We may have to pass some sanctions on Australia.

You all need to come up here and learn to eat like Yanks.
