I've had some thoughts for a while,

When the rapture happens do you think the people left behind will know what has happened? Will they see us up in the clouds? I was thinking that at that moment there might be a huge earthquake and an EMP that knocks out everything due to the huge amount of energy from the dead being raised and all of us being changed.

Also I imagine us being gathered together above Jerusalem with Jesus.

What do you guys think? Anyone have any thoughts about the details of the rapture?

I think many will know what has occurred but some will probably have no idea and believe whatever mass excuse is given. Especially since the timeline for the rapture isn't set in stone, what I mean by that is the after the rapture there is no definite time frame as to when the anti-christ will come to be in control; It could be a day, a month, or longer. I don't think that they will see us in the clouds personally, I think we will just be gone.

That's a good point, the Antichrist might not be revealed immediately. It might not be till after the ezekiel 38 war. The rapture might not be till after then either, but before the Antichrist reveals himself .

I think maybe the Antichrist will say yes it was the rapture, and now we have to band together and do good for humanity so they can go to heaven as well. Or that God was judging them by taking us. He will mix truth with lies.

The new age believers believe that some time in the future millions of people will disappear because reality will be raised to a higher spiritual frequency, and those with lower frequencies (babies, children, Christians) will be left in the old realm of lower frequency existence.

That is just another way for Satan to discredit the rapture. These new age people received this information while in a trance talking to "spirit beings".

Just more proof of the rapture, the enemy trying to come up with an alternative story.

I think it will be heartbreaking. Those husbands or wives who were not a Christian and their family members were born again Christian are now gone will grieve. Babies will go in the rapture of the Church. Families who are did not go in the rapture of the Church will then grieve the loss of their children. Many will know the concept of the rapture of the Church and perhaps will give their salvation a second thought. Many will come to a genuine faith in the rapture of the Church and will die as martyrs. Only God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit know how it will come off and when. We will meet Jesus Christ in the clouds and then be taken to heaven. I have always thought that an angel will escort us to be with our Lord at the rapture. That is only speculation on my part but it makes sense. Jesus wants us to get to Him safely and Satan and his demons are out there. It is really an exciting thought. The fact that in a fraction of a second we will see the face of Jesus Christ and all of our loved ones who were born again Christians. The wrath and judgement of God that will take place on this earth is not for His beloved Children those who are genuine Christians. But some of those who call themselves a Christian will not go. Perhaps that will make them so angry that they will refuse to believe that what just happened is the rapture of the Church.

The Antichrist is revealed in Revelation 6. At the beginning of the book of Revelation the Church has already gone and has been raptured. There is no time line as to when the seven year tribulation will begin after the rapture of the Church. Weeks, months, years? I think that everyone will be so confused as to what happened the Antichrist will come along and deceive many into telling them a lie as to why all these people have disappeared. And many will believe him.

There will be a very few Christians alive at the end of the seven year tribulation. I don't know how they will survive. Go underground? It would have a be an excellent hiding place with all the technology we have today. It would be easy to find them even underground.

Some thoughts:

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn (Revelation 1:7), and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory (Revelation 19:11-16). 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." (Matthew 24:29-31).

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Notice the Caught Up or Rapture is after Jesus Comes on the Clouds (Revelation 1:7, Revelation 19:11-16).

And Jesus said When He comes on clouds all will see Him:

"Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah/Christ,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it. 24 For false messiahs/christs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones. 25 See, I have warned you about this ahead of time. 26 “So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! 27 For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man[e] comes. 28 Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near." (Matthew 24:23-28)

"Look, he is coming with the clouds," and "every eye will see him, even those who pierced him"; and all peoples on earth "will mourn because of him." So shall it be! Amen." (Revelation 1:7).

This is a thread for those who have the glorified hope of the rapture of the Church before the seven year tribulation. Your reply is regarding the second coming of Jesus Christ. Perhaps you could start a thread for those who have your end time belief rather than start a negative debate about what we believe.

My point was to share why these false prophets keep getting rapture (caught up) wrong, it happens but not in sequence they think. When people ask questions or call something "Rapture Thoughts," is not all views allowed?: "What do you guys think? Anyone have any thoughts about the details of the rapture?" I am fine with people having belief in Pre-Trib Rapture, I am not in here to debate them. I am offering my thoughts according to Scripture. If there is offense over my words, take it up with the One who wrote Matthew 24:29-31, and 2 Thessalonians 4:16-17, not me.

I happen to believe the closest thing to Rapture happens after Jesus appears on clouds according to these passages:

But I have never berated, or ridiculed someone who believes in a Pre-Trib Rapture. In fact, I hope they are right about missing out on the Trib, believe me I prefer that if it were so, but elsewhere I have shared why I do not hold the Rapturist view (Revelation 13:7, Revelation 14:12, Revelation 7:1-11, and the verses I have shared).

I think we should be able to share our different views without being threatened, arguing, and causing offense with each other. I actual recently watched a video End Times, Amazon.com, with Tim Lehaye, and I was fascinated by his thought, "The Tribulation will causes the Jews to confess Jesus at long last."

Actually, no it's not.  The OP never mentioned a pre-trib rapture or questioned the timing.  The OP asked what will people think after the rapture and if others will see us in the clouds.

I value everyone's opinion. I believe in the pre trib rapture because that's what I see when I read scripture. Paul talks a lot about our blessed hope. He doesn't talk about prepping or hunkering down or keeping our eyes on the anti Christ.

Believing in the rapture keeps my head up looking for Jesus, not living in fear looking for the Antichrist.

If the Antichrist pops up I will the know it was not a pretrib rapture. Im prepared either way.

Be blessed ?
