Hi Who me,

And I am quite aware that this talk is about Medieval `Church` history. I shudder to call it `Church` as God`s word tells us that that is the Body of Christ which is not an organisation of man, but an organism of the Holy Spirit.

Marilyn.

None of those verse forbid Christians from learning or from studing or from seeking to understand how the universe works.

And you still haven't explain your hipocracy in using what you are saying is worldly evil science i.e. computors and the internet.

Yahuweh is well pleased to HIDE SALVATION from the educated,

and to REVEAL EVERYTHING ABOUT SALVATION to the little children.

That's enough for those trusting Yahuweh (The Father in Heaven)

Hi Who me,

I still believe that it is the person and NOT the system of false beliefs, (Catholic Church) that discovers God`s wisdom.

Which one taught you (as you seem to post you believe) to trust in man/ mankind/ society/ science/ the flesh ?

which Yahuweh says He curses. (everyone who trusts in the flesh)

You are confusing getting an education and using it with having a personal relationship with Jesus.

Christians are allowed to be educated. To work in science, be doctors, engineers, accountants, nurses, managers, teachers etc.

ha ha.. I WISH the Church were ruled by fear, assuming you speak of fear of God? Fear of God is the beginning of all wisdom, says Proverbs 1 (I believe it is, or is Psalms 1? I think it is Proverbs 1 )

What I meant was that the Roman church ruled by fear of itself. It forced people to "believe" whether they did or not. They were afraid to not follow the rules and regulations set up by it.

While there  were good things done by the RC, it is to its shame that it did not educate the ordinary people or let them have the bible in the ordinary peoples language.

Before the invention of printing distributing bibles would have been a monumental task, but whytclife and the perscuted church in russia showed that it was possible.

No,  as pointed out innumerable times for over 1000 years,  nothing good proceeded from that thing you keep trying to defend, which is indefensible,  defending the work of the devil is sinful itself also.

The RC had to have done something good over time, I suppose. Not allowing the Bible (the Truth) into the hands of the people  was probably the worst of it but by no means all of it. God sent the likes of Luther to break that bondage.

The church got rich on the backs of those they kept ignorant and fearful.
