This is the period of Church History that encompasses the Holy Bible. From 30-100 A.D. From the Gospel of Matthew to the Revelation. The last Apostle to die was John, the Disciple Whom Jesus loved, and who wrote, The Gospel According to John, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, and Revelation. John died of natural causes in 100 A.D., and the Apostle Paul, considered the John the Baptist for Jesus died in 67 A.D. This period of Church History is rather difficult to discuss, because for us Christians it is not history, it is theology, doxology, spiritual, divine: God came in flesh and died for our sins and rose from dead. However, it is the most important period of Church History, with the End Times and Christ's Return (May He come soon Revelation 22:20) being either a close second or tied in importance (depending on your views). This topic requires the most respect of all, because we talking about events that make us who we are, Christians, and are what matter above all else, Jesus is everything; He is God, He is Man, and He is real, not a philosophy but a personality with a body who is One with Father and Holy Spirit, One God Three Persons. We may discuss the Holy Scriptures (Old and New Testament), history surrounding the Bible, Josephus, and other contemporaries of the time period, Roman Rule, and all that pertains to the Church of Jesus Disciples to the Church of Acts and Beyond.
