GodsGirl123 Posted October 7, 2017 Group: Members Followers: 3 Topic Count: 5 Topics Per Day: 0.00 Content Count: 38 Content Per Day: 0.02 Reputation: 16 Days Won: 0 Joined: 09/14/2017 Status: Offline Share Posted October 7, 2017 when i was saved first i think it was holy spirit told me to close all those accounts like facebook and other social media , 2nd time i had dream that in chating section some people are demons not here but on other education site where i was .. nd that people was really weird . other time i show in dream if i want to connect with God i have to unplug my self totally from devices i showed dream that i should not watch my TV .. i only watch TV for some news or other traveling channels i show in dream that demons are coming out of TV in my home and they attacked me .i show many video of people telling not to watch TV and delete social media . other dream God show me was if i want to be human i have to disconnect my self from devices (TV, Mobile - smartphone , social media etc...) because it was making me robot !!!!! i just deleted all of my accounts .im using internet and this account bcz i can't go to church and my family is not from christian religion . so i used this account to connect with other people who think same . - sorry for any typo and for english plz manage it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I dislike social media and making Google and FaceAche folk money. I understand and maybe some others will be able to give better advice, or feedback. TV disgusts me - it is like a sewer pipe open into your living room. However, there are many technologies that can be used wisely and to be sure, the Lord Allowed it, so in reality He is in overall control. He gives us free choice as to which technologies we might use without them using us or controlling us. It is a very good idea to often unplug and Get with God alone. Cannot fault that. However, if the Lord has given anyone personal instructions and warnings not to go on facebook or watch TV or anything else, then we are to obey Him, plain and simple. For one thing, cellphones, internet and TV etc can be just plain addictive, even aside from what a person can be exposed to in terms of content. I believe the Lord showed me one time that technology is like a modern day Tower of Babel........people of the entire planet are being corralled together like cattle on the internet and being taught and trained to think the ideology of the world through it.......through technology mass media they are becoming of one mind......and that isn't the mind of Christ sadly. Am I loving it too much? Is it really necessary? Is it controlling me? Can I live without it? About watching TV, series, movies... Many people say: "It is just a movie, it won't give me any problem". Do not underestimate the destructive power they have, the enemy is deceiving many by making use of different technologies, and using people who don't care. But I believe that we as Christians should be careful on what we are welcoming to us and think:"Will watching this add something constructive?" "Will it add to my faith in Christ?" "Is it a true thing, is it good? Do I need this?" "Is it something worth of my precious time on this world?" It is a known fact that we are very good at using things in a inappropriate manner, going against God's intentions and following our own's. There is some good and there is some bad in technology. Yes, Satan has taken over much of the social media such as television and the movie industry and video games. Those in the Sanhedrin who opposed him in John 8 he called sons of the devil. While were yet enemies (of God), Christ died for us. Romans 5:10. We have to stop thinking of humanity in terms of being the middle man between heaven an hell and realize our true nature is of hell. And from that we can be saved through faith in Christ. Everything not specifically from God IS satanic (humanistic). Question is, since we are immersed in this life (in the world not of the world) shall we take that which is available to all and not use it to honor Christ and further his kingdom? Reading through your post I can see your "dreams" are giving you contradictory information, which tells me they are not from God. I'm not saying you should-or should not give up social media. That is a choice that is up to you to make depending on where the Lord leads.
