There has never been anything like it. Perhaps other Presidents have been wrong on the issues, but one could supposedly tolerate them better than Trump because of how this administration makes us look in the eyes of other countries. None of that is true. When I think back on the Clinton Presidency, I can't come up with anything to compare it to. It was one scandal after another. It was either something to do with Clinton having an affair, or someone accusing him of past sexual assault, or crazy things happening with people he appointed. He started out breaking a campaign promise about not raising taxes on the middle class, and wasted no time doing it. He made up that phony excuse about not realizing how bad things were. There was that mess with that guy called Charley Tree funneling illegal campaign money from China. There was the Joselyn Elders garbage. There was the attempt at a single payer health care system. Hillary got Tammy Wynette upset with her by making that derogatory comment about her song, "Stand By Your Man." It was one ridiculous thing after another. Most of the stuff with Trump is not about a scandal. It is just someone criticizing him. If not for the press, and non stop attacks from haters, there isn't that much to talk about.
