Quick re-cap if you don't wanna click the link:

Paul was preaching on Revelation 19, and someone in the church(probably from boredom), joked with his friend asking him about the football game.

Right as he did, "Washer slammed the pulpit with both his hands, pointed directly at the man, and growled, 'You will know them by their fruit!'"

"According to witnesses, the inattentive man immediately began to seize and convulse, and fell to the floor."

Reminds me of the story in Acts, where Ananias and his wife lied to the Holy Spirit.

Besides, Washer is no Apostle.

Since when do you need to be an Apostle to do great works?

John 14:12

"whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these"

Again, Acts 5 was a judgment of God not Peter's.

I don't think Washer is part of NAR, are you?

You completely ignored my point, and fished for something else.

"Acts 5 was a judgment of God not Peter's"...Correct and that's irrelevant considering all works through any Apostle were through God. What does that have to do with Paul? God can't do works through him? Only Apostles can perform miracles? No, God works through whomever he chooses.

Besides, Paul didn't do a miracle. If anything, the Holy Spirit spoke through him, and God took action in his own hands. Paul didn't command the person to die.

John 14:12

"whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these"

 Matthew 17:20

“For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Funny just the same. I have always liked the Babylonian Bee. They can come up with some really great stories that are clean and I can have a nice chuckle.

Strange they used that particular scripture as a joke as we will know them by their fruit, including web sites.

From Wikipedia:

The Babylon Bee is a satirical evangelical Christian website. The site is famous for over-the-top fake stories focusing on well known pastors, celebrities, and politicians. It was created by Adam Ford, and was launched on March 1, 2016. It models itself on The Onion.

In June 2016, Babylon Bee was criticized for publishing an article mocking Jan Crouch, who had recently died.
