Depending on the scholar / expert, there's a variance of opinion. Some say there is an even number of verses, thus there is no single verse but two. Many can't even agree exactly how many verses there are or what constitutes a verse. So my answer is... D This wasn't meant to be a trick question. My pastor from the pulpit brought up the middle verse in the Bible during a sermon. I was interested to see if it had anymore significance and started researching how many, middle, etc., and that's the facts I came up with.

But if you run a search on "middle verse of the Bible", you'll see the results and various scholar and expert analysis and difference of opinions. I though the answer would be be cut and dry? To my surprise, it wasn't.

The explanation is in John 3: 14 - 18 It's in John 3:14 I always remember John 12:32 for Jesus being lifted up as the serpent was. Sorry,,,you don't have to change John 3:14-18 I just don't see the explanation there...but John 3:14 is the same. (as John 12:32)

The Lord x 2 for the Bonus! Hey BeauJangles! Your answer is correct, however, no bonus points. Genesis 32:25 (KJV) And when he (the Lord) saw that he prevailed not against him (Jacob), he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. [emphasis mine] I've studied this strange encounter and have never been able to understand it; other than a permanent reminder for Jacob to remember something?
