Prayers are much appreciated. Knowing I have the prayer support means a lot to me.

Im doing fine. Nearing the end of my infusions and having that port finally taken out. Getting physical therapy for a frozen shoulder. Recovering from a broken tooth I had removed tuesday. Getting all sorts of medical tests done to make sure Im healthy (cardiac and mammogram). Then hopefully I wont be so tired lol.

@ayin jade I praise God you're doing better. I was definitely wondering about that tooth situation... Dental work can be so painful. Didn't know about the frozen shoulder. Thanks for the update. I'll continue praying.

(1) How tall was Goliath?

(2) How many brothers did Goliath have?

Why do you suppose David picked up the number of stones that he did? Did he think he would miss the first shot?

(1)  six cubits and a span? ( approximately 9'9"tall? )

(2)  four brothers?

(3) one stone for Goliath and one for each of his brothers perhaps ( five stones )

Did he think he would miss the first shot?

Answer: probably not

Different biblical interpretations disagree on the number of brothers Goliath had, although there is proof he did have one brother named Lahmi. In 1 Chronicles, the Bible states that Lahmi, the brother of Goliath, was killed by Elhanan. Other mentions of giants related to Goliath leave critics questioning whether the giants are brothers or sons of Goliath.

The other three giants, Ishbibenob, Saph and an unnamed giant with six fingers and toes, are understood by some to be the brothers of Goliath. Some believe these giants were born of the giant of Gath, making all of them siblings.

Other scholars argue that these giants are sons of Goliath and not his brothers. A popular interpretation of the story of David and Goliath is that David picked up five stones, one for Goliath and his four brothers, though some would argue that it was really his four sons.

Yep, I agree with all the above. I like to think of it this way if Goliath's brothers / sons / kin folk showed up:

One for the Money, two for the show, three's getting me ready for that fourth sibling yet to go.  :D

Yeah I know; being retired I have too much time on my hands...

George started it off with Genesis, I thought it fitting to follow up the next quiz in Revelation? Revelation can be tough with all the information and a myriad of interpretations. In trivia I strive to stick to what is clearly written in scripture and avoid any preconceived opinion. Looks like it's starting off pretty well  :D

Okay well, I had to back in the thread to find the link and did find other quizzes. I am horrible under time limits though, and how do I find my way back when needed if logging in and I can't find the link? :b:
