Perhaps. But the regional climate does become modified over time. It has here as development has changed the terrain. We used to have rain when the temperatures hit 94F degrees. Now, with roads and structures and far less greenery, the rain tends to fall inland further, and we get temperatures of over 100F degrees.

At the state of Connecticut the geese that used to leave for winter stay in the Connecticut River and strip the vegetation from the rocks, they just don't migrate leaving the land at least for a season like they used to do. And it is hurting the land. So hoax? I don't know that is totally accurate.

There certainly is misuse of the issue for personal gain worldwide! Whole industries have been created around land mitigation. Such corruption and wealth shifting the likes of which are almost unfathomable are occurring, all under the guise of ecological responsibility. So in that sense I think it more criminal political conspiracy than hoax.

One great scam here has been the buying of wetlands  that cannot be developed,  for a small price, but paying document stamps to the county for much higher value per acre. That value then reflects on the property records. The property  then gets sold for a higher price as mitigating land for big box stores to give to the State as compensation for their flattening large areas of other  land for their parking lots of asphalt. Some of the abuse on the stamp buying has been stopped, but the concept goes on today.

Miles upon miles of coastal lands woods and swamps have been bought by one company for about $50 an acre and then sold to private developers for the sole purpose of their giving it to the State at a value of $5000 an acre and to get permits to develop other land. The money moves round and round this way. The State then gives credit at that price plus buys some additional adjacent land at the inflated price out of general tax revenue and tells us,  look we are saving the planet for you. It is a great scheme to move money if nothing else.

I would have to disagree but only partially. I dont believe in manmade climate change but to some degree there is climate change.....99% of it caused by the SUN alone, the other 1% often caused by volcanoes.

I agree about the ozone layer though
