There's possibly over 3000 things in our food and drink and air and soil and 'electronics' that are known and proven to cause cancer.   The causes of cancer were well known by pharmakeia before 1945,   and then promoted/ advertising increased,  to increase sales of the cancer causing substances,  while the information was 'hidden' from the general public.

This includes potentially a lot of various baby food(s) ingredients, baby  formula,  "prescribed" medicine (especially soy formula "prescribed by a doctor),

sugar,  soda,  etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc ......

just being alive creates a risk of getting cancer but im not going to do the only thing that will keep me from it.

when I was a teen all the adults around me listened to Paul Harvey on radio; he said scientist had determined that eating white beans causes cancer; we ate white beans twice a day til I went into the service. years later they discover white beans do not cause cancer.

Yes, but you are excusing the very well known risks of drinking alcohol. I am sure that comparing drinking alcohol and eating white beans are two very different scenarios. You could say the same thing for smokers. Why quit if there are other risk factors all around us.

Why quit ?

To not risk disease , perhaps?

Why not quit all the 'risk' factors possible to quit ?  (milk, flour, sugar, msg, soy, refined products and chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, drugs (oral and injected) )

Many of these cause 20 or more times cancer and other diseases than smoking and drinking combined do.

Or sit down and eat an organic carrot stick for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

That country that made a metal / man-made / robot a citizen,  might have a metal or silicon /man-made/  carrot ?

Would that help ?

I did not mean any disrespect to you. I am not one to put stock in most scientist test results that most likely are more theory than truth. when my grandmother was 89

her doc told her to drink one beer a day, she was Christian and never had a beer before. Bacon was another theory of food scientist that for a long time caused cancer until they found it did not cause it. I should have just said don't believe everything scientist say is true.
