Has anyone here ever heard of false memories.

I used to believe that I had walked across America when I was younger and the feeling was pretty convincing.

There has also be documented cases of physiologists getting sued for malpractice because they instilled false memories in some patients. Here is an example of that

Oh, Project Camelot, don't remind me of them!

Before I accepted God into my life, I fed upon conspiracy theories. I did, to be fair, take it all with a pinch of salt, nor was I willing to believe everything.

In a nut shell, everything was acceptable except for the gospel.

Praise the Lord for saving me!

Specifically, he says here is a mechanism behind the Great Sphinx of Giza’s ear that will “unlock” the monument and change life on Earth.

Well I have heard of this before (the once moveable block that sticks out behind one of  the sphinx ear ), also there are early photos of a hole on top of the sphinx head big enough for a man to climb in and out (aparently there are tunnels inside) - but the entrance has since been concreted up...to hide something?

Whether there is a major discovery in there lost to us or it's probably long gone.

Unless this guy's mom was sitting on a Mars candy bar when she had him, I severely doubt he was born on Mars....

You're right, I don't believe it at all - so what are the other options for what 'seemingly' appears to be all prior knowledge of a former civilisation?

Grand delusion? I might have to search around to find out how common this is and how in depth someone can get on one particular subject.

I wonder if it could be an ultra-extreme form of autism/grandeur.

I would also venture another possibility: demonic.  As in: demons would know a thing or two about ancient civilizations and whisper that in the ears of those who play with the occult or "new age' stuff.

I know how that sounds, but before I would believe that someone was "born on Mars", I would venture that something supernatural is whispering stuff in the background.

I did think that also!
