When anyone Old Testament times or New Testament times learns the truth, it is very often devastating and embarrassing, piercing even the heart and soul ..... so great are the wickednesses of man everywhere, all around us growing up, and all of our lives. (extremely few if any exceptions) But even with exceptions, for most people when they start to learn the truth from Yahweh, in His Plan, it is [extremely] painful and sorrowful, for all the sin that comes to LIGHT (is exposed in HIS LIGHT) as HE WORKS SALVATION in anyone. Oh, true, SALVATION IS HEALING , and nurturing peaceful balm , finding out the omni-caring of Yahweh and the goodness of the SHEPHERD JESUS, their perfect care forever past and forward in the future.... But seeing the mass perniciousness of family, friends and society everywhere, is still astonishing, at first also embarrassing (finding out that what and often who we once trusted completely is deadly) , and this is also one reason people STOP following or seeking JESUS - they don't enough in HIS PLAN to know it is worth it (to give up everything and as needed to suffer everything even the loss of all things for the GOSPEL'S SAKE , FOR JESUS, to be His disciple and to receive LIFE from Him and in Him ) ......
