And the warfare extends from farthest star to inner depths of the heart. Often our biggest battleground is within ourselves. And as we mature in life and in the Lord we realize more and more than nothing good comes from the flesh. And the analogy of us between two little versions of ourselves (one looks like and angel and the other like a devil) like we are some neutral free moral agents of some sort between the two dilemmas is a myth. It's the flesh against the spirit. Yet most of us plow daily through life oblivious to this. Giving into most if not every craving of the flesh. Sad.
