My national rugby sevens team Fiji used that bible verse a lot. They say it every time before they play.

Bible verse

BIBLE verses written on 7s players wristbands is the familiar sights on the HSBC World Sevens Series.

Arguably — the idea was first introduced by 7s legend Waisale Serevi in the late '80s. Serevi's favourite Bible verse then was Ecclesiastes 9:10 — Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

In 1997, his bible verse changed to Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And this famous verse is now used by the Vodafone Fiji 7s team.

All thanks to one rugby player, other rugby players in every national rugby team participating in this tournament, are following his footpath. Teams like Russia, Spain, Scotland, France, Kenya, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga and USA.

Here is an example of an famous New Zealand rugby player Jerome Kaino

Many All Blacks write personal messages on their wrists, including loose forward Jerome Kaino, who always writes: "Mum" and "Dad", plus a cross and "Phil 4:13", a reference to a passage in the Bible which reads: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."

Not every rugby player is a Christian but if they continue to spread the Word of God through writing message on taped wrist, they will definitely inspire the next generation of rugby to do the same thing.

It's amazing how good things can spread today even faster all over the world, thanks to technology!

And that even small countries can inspire the rest of the world :)

Oh listener,

You need a whole box of tissues. That so grabs the heart and makes one think of our precious Lord who -

`...is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,...` (Jude 24)

It is always about the Lord.....thr` Him & to Him and by Him....to Him be the glory forever and ever and ever.....

thank you so much, Marilyn.

Exactly Marilyn... Always about Him... and another really touching consideration is that if even a "human genitor" is able to do things such in that video, imagine the love that the Lord has for Us and what He has prepared for us... :)
