No disrespect to you but do you know how many people here at Worthy have said “Jesus spoke these words to me?”

i believe Rev Man said something similar too, and he promotes a seals released in the final 3.5 years instead of already released.

I admit, I am biased in that I don’t believe God is audibly speaking to us today. He speaks to us through his written word  and enlightens us through His Holy Spirit within us.

I test every  utterance made by man through the word and I don’t see in the word that it is conclusive the  4 horsemen have already ridden. I’m sorry.....that’s my comfort zone. I would say the same to anyone....not just you.  As you know, so what on what I think? You don’t need my validation....I get that.

Spock, please keep in mind, God is the same, yesterday, today and forever. He never changes. What does change is dispensations. However, we are still living in the church age. God is dealing with man exactly the way He did with the early church. The Holy Spirit is still the same. In other words, if God spoke to man in the early church, then He is still speaking. The difference is, today few hear Him. Read through the book of Acts and take notice how God continually communicated with the early church.

Of course, God continues to speak to us through His word. There is no question about that.

Next, consider when Jesus asked: who do YOU say that I am. And Peter answered that He was the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus then said Peter got that through revelation knowledge: God revealed it to him. Then Jesus said THAT (revelation knowledge) would be the ROCK upon which He would build His church.  Later Paul received, by revealed knowledge, the gospel by which we are saved and by which we will be judged.

Yet, today we have church after church will different doctrine, each imagining they are the only ones to get it right! How can this be if God reveals knowledge? I can give you the number 1 reason: most of the church of today has BYPASSED Acts 1 and 2. Period and end of story. Revealed knowledge comes by and through the anointing which we get by obeying Acts 1 & 2. Remember, Paul said that he spoke in tongues more then them all (put together).  Paul did a LOT of praying in tongues, and Paul walked in more revelation knowledge than any other writer of the New Testament.

There's no point in continuing if you're just going to misrepresent what I say.  Stay awake brother, and be on the alert.

Sorry, I did not mean to misrepresent.  That was not my intent.

You wrote, " NOWHERE does it say that He opened seals to oppose the spreading of the gospel. "

Your idea here I guess, is that "to" represents purpose: Certainly God did not "on Purpose" oppose the gospel! It was HE who said "GO."

We have to understand, Satan was without any doubt in God's face to oppose Him sending out the church to the world. Satan was and still is the god of this world. We could guess the conversation went something like this:

God: "When this book gets opened, and the trumpets sounded: at the 7th trumpet you will be dethroned and lose your position as the prince of this world."

Satan: "Then I demand this book be sealed and the only possible way to get the book opened will be for a man to raise from the dead and escape from hell. Only such a man would be found worthy to open the seals. " Satan of course  imagined that no such man would ever come.

God: "Then the first seal will give me authority to send out the church to take the eternal gospel to the world."

Satan: "then I demand that the next three seals will give me the authority to stop the gospel with wars, famines, pestilences and wild beasts."

God: "OK, but you will be limited to only 1/4 of the world to do these things. The 5th seal will then be for the martyrs of the church age. And the 6th will be the start of judgment. At the 7th seal, the book will be opened."  i am convinced: Satan was SURE that no seal would ever get opened. Of course he was wrong.

We see glimpses of the war between God and Satan all through scripture.  God's goal with this book is to get all seven seals opened so that the book can be opened to begin the 70th week of Daniel. Then ultimately to get to the 7th seal and get Satan kicked off his throne and return the world to Jesus Christ, the rightful owner.

Satan's goal has always been to prove God to be a liar - to oppose Him in any way He can. His ultimate goal is to take as many humans to hell with him as possible, and so rob God of these people forever.

You will probably disagree. It is OK. No one can be dogmatic on things not written, unless they receive revelation knowledge. Paul was dogmatic: anyone that would teach any other gospel but HIS would be accursed!

      Blessings brothers and sister,
I was wondering what insight you might have about the usefulness of having children in these last last days. I know we don't know "the day and the hour" but we can't ignore the times. I really want children, and so does my unbelieving spouse but 2 miscarriages later and with the end approaching I'm wondering if this is the best decision for serving the Lord. I love to study and teach and have already envisioned a wonderful and comprehensive homeschooling curriculum, and will follow guides to make sure they successfully grow through their stages. My husband forbids the kids attending church or being taught Christianity as fact rather than my belief. Still, he's not against Christian friends and conversation per se... Other than this, my husband is a committed provider, supports traditional roles and most of Christian teachings, and is very affectionate to family (including our cats).
I think will make a very good dad. So far things seem to indicate a green light from God, but I'm still interested in what you all know or think!

The Comings of the Lord Jesus: the Rapture in blessing in mid air, then from heaven on a white horse in judgment
There is no mention of the term "second coming" in the Bible.   The term seems to cause some to deny the coming for believers as compared to His coming down to the earth in judgment.
Jesus will come, in the air to take believers up to Himself, in white, His hands in blessing, for His saints, in like manner as He went up:
John 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Luke 24:50-52  50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. 51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
Acts 1:11   Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
Luke 18:8  Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
Revelation 16:15   Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Isaiah 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him,...
I Thess. 4:16-17  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Psalms 27:5  For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Jude 1:14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,  15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
1 Thess, 5:2   For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.  Verse 4  But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Jesus comes to the earth in judgment, on a horse, with fire and a sword, in red garment, not in blessing, to render His anger with fury:
Revelation 19:7-16   7 For the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.... 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.... 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Psalm 50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before Him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about Him.
Isaiah 66:15-16 15For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
2 Peter 3:10     But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Zech. 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle;... 3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.....  8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem.
Rev. 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.
Revelation 3:3   Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

He comes in wrath, His garments dipped in blood Isa. 62, 63; Rev. 19
      Isaiah Chapter 62:11-12 and 63:1-6
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?  3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.  4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.  5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.  6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
      Revelation 19:7-16
7 For the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready....
