Once again, there's a new attempt to discredit the biblical canon.

Fox News had this posted on their website today. A letter written by Jesus to his "brother" http://www.foxnews.com/science/2017/12/04/ancient-forbidden-christian-text-jesus-secret-teachings-to-his-brother-found.html

I'm sure heretics aplenty will be jumping on this. This is along the same lines as Jesus writing about his "wife"

Stay tuned

The article states they are gnostic writings, which is already known to be outside of Christianity. I dont see this as discrediting the bible since it is a known heretical book to begin with and not somethign that is brand new.

The point is, the heretics will jump all over this, just watch.

The text has been around for many years and is available online. It is not a new book, just an earlier copy of it. I guess I dont see how this will change anything.

They found a copy of what already existed, "First Apocalypse of James".

This is FoxNews trying to boost ratings, with misleading titles.

people think older means better or older means more correct.

like so-called Bible "translators" using supposedly earlier texts and thinking THEY are more correct than others.
