God`s word tells us that the place is `the far north` the northern quarter of the world, in Hebrew - Ez. 38: 8 & Joel 2: 20. And the only Federation in the northern quarter of the world is ..... God is addressing the Gentile`s rule & not Satan at this time. The whole world is under the sway of the evil one and will be dealt with in God`s time. Marilyn. I think each of these 5 fallen were empires that controlled and harassed Israel. I would say Nebuchadnezzar as the first, Darius as the second as the Median Empire, then perhaps the King of Persia while Esther was alive, Then Antiochus Epiphanes. I have no guess for all five. I hate to start with ,Egypt or Assyria because of the great image old Neb' saw. God started with Babylon. Others would say Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-persia, Greece, and Rome as the one that "is." In other words, I think John's statement of "one is" puts the 5 into history. I think it must be history that fits the image in Daniel 2 and the image of Daniel 7. Revelation's view tells nothing about this idea If you drop the Roman Empire from the setting [not a part of the prophecy] then there are two more kingdoms which will begin during the 70th week decreed, one after the other [the first 5 have already fallen] The first will be the kingdom of the little horn of Daniel 7 .... this will then morph into the larger kingdom during the second part of the 1260 days The little horn will expand his territory and this will taken over by the beast [Revelation 9:11, 11:7, 13:1-4; 17:8-18] Edited April 5, 2018 by Daniel 11:36 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
