Guest shiloh357
Called “Destiny Reading Cards,” charismatics – some associated with Bethel Church in Redding, California – are engaging in what is essentially tarot card reading. You can see the clip below, and then we’ll explain. They call it a “reading” and refer to the program as “Christalignment.” They don’t do “predictions,” but they will help empower your destiny rather than control it. Using what is essentially tarot cards, they do a “reading” about relations, jobs and issues to help people “make better decisions in the future.” The tarot is a pack of playing cards made originally in the 1400s in Italy and France, which are meant to help a psychic “divine” truth either about the future or a present situation (some assume the name is taken from the Taro river in Italy). Explicitly occultic tarots include a 78 card pack (as opposed to all the other kinds of tarot, which are implicitly occultic). The charismatics at Bethel Church and elsewhere have commandeered this satanic practice and seek to help people gain insight into their life from these “readings.” Here’s another clip, below. Mind, Body and Spirit” is a group put together by fans (left) of Bethel Redding, and includes various partners, including the parents of Bethel missionary, Ben Fitzgerald. Students from Bethel Church in Redding were helping with their “readings.” Jenny and Ken Hodge are hosting an event, “Taking Jesus into Counter Cultures” on March 10. They have modeled the practice of “taking Jesus into counter cultures” by doing their Christianized tarot cards at events like porn expos. You can see on their public Facebook page their closeness with Bethel Church in Redding. You can see on their December 7 post their advertising of Christalignment (the top video) at an upcoming event. You can see another “reading” by the woman below. This reading does not involve tarot cards, however, but different colored agates. http://pulpitandpen.org/2017/12/11/charismatics-now-using-christian-tarot-cards/
Guest shiloh357
This "New Apostolic Reformation" with Bethel Church and Hillsong is a the spawn of Satan. It is one of the most dangerous, demonic movements in the modern Church with its false miracles and false teachers. I tried doing some internet searches on this and found the main christalignment.org site, a list of events where the Hodges (my impression is that they are leaders in this) give seminars on sharing the gospel in nontraditional ways with counter culture groups, and a few articles highly critical of this. I'm trying to figure out how much of this is a nontraditional way to try to talk to people (who would otherwise have nothing to do with anything Christian) using art work and nontraditional language, getting people to talk about themselves and their lives, and then offering to pray with them and give them spiritual counsel, and how much of this is potentially occult stuff that is just plain weird. The people with Christalignment are certainly going into places and meeting and talking with people that most Christians have few dealings with. Their description (from their site) on attending the 2017 Queer Expo was "Our team was able to give love, gain understanding and engage at a deeper level. As usual, we found that people the world over, long and hunger for the same things, have the same heart needs, the same life needs and still reach out to be touched by the Divine. Our lifestyle choices often do not cloud our searching for the very basic connection to a creator who loves, a creator who comes in a personal way, a creator who answers the intimate need of the human heart." I'm not going to rush to judgement on this without knowing more. Is this merely using a personality survey (based on artwork instead of written questions) to get people to start talking about themselves? Or is it occultic? There are those people in the world that feel that God and His people hate them and want nothing to do with Him or any of His people. Is this a way of using nontraditional language to try to express to them that there is indeed a Creator than made them, loves them, and wants to do work in their lives? Or is this some oddball new agers that stepped foot in a church a few times and appropriated a bit of the language and symbolism?

Or is this some oddball new agers that stepped foot in a church a few times and appropriated a bit of the language and symbolism? Here is what the webiste says about themselves: The Christalignment team, based in Melbourne, Australia, are trained spiritual consultants, gifted in various modalities. We practice a form of supernatural healing that flows from the universal presence of the Christ. We draw from the same divine energy of the Christ spirit , as ancient followers did and operate only out of the third heaven realm to gain insight and revelation. All Christalignment team members operate only out of the third heaven realm. That means that we are all hearing from Christ spirit. This ensures safety for you and a way higher level of accuracy. That is not Christian at all. Notice the phrase, "the Christ spirit." That is not Jesus. "The Christ spirit" is not how Jesus is referred to in Scripture and the New Age occultists make a lot of use of similar terminology. In New Age speak, "The Christ" is not Jesus; it is a spirit master. The claim to be operating out of the third heaven and hearing directly from "the Christ spirit." That is so occultic and demonic, it should be a no-brainer. These people are demonically influenced. It is occultic to the core. It is total deception.
