Guest shiloh357
A week ago, we reported that charismatics are using “Christian tarot cards.” Christalignment, a ‘ministry’ run by Jen Hodge, had put together a “destiny card” schtick to help “reach people” in the New Age movement. You can read about that here, but they have since pulled down their videos. We also reported Hodge’s association with Bethel Church, which at first repudiated the tarot card ministry but upon finding out that Bethel members were involved with it, then deleted their rebuke and affirmed the practice. Steve Kozar at Pirate Christian Radio posted a satire piece about “The Bethel Board,” a Ouija Board-type device by which charismatics can summon the demonic. While Kozar’s piece was satire, it appears that truth is stranger than fiction. Charismatics actually are using ‘Christian Ouija Boards,’ but not just as an evangelism technique. They are using them to communicate with ‘angels.’ Called “The Angels Talk: The Message Board that Connects You to Your Angels,” the device is used to communicate with spirits. This sounds like just another repackage to draw the mass away from the one true way to communicate with God, through Christ Jesus. Perhaps they should take a lesson from Saul, when the witch of Endor conjured up Samuel and the results? No matter what they claim, if it's not 100% biblical, it's deception and misdirection away from the Word of God and is satanically inspired.

And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day— (Jud 1:6) As Paul Harvey says, "and here's the rest of the story". It's not part of the cannon or inspired scripture I realize, but the Book of Enoch has a lot to say about those angels, as well as Genesis 6: If Jude and Peter quote from and refer to the Book of Enoch, I think that gives us license to read it also and see what it says. I know, I know the comments coming, heard them all and I agree with what you're going to say. The author can't be confirmed and is pseudo, there are errors and I agree, it's not inspired, agreed again. But it can give some insight into what the Bible doesn't go into great detail about. 1

Many visit these Bethel type places then return to their unknowing churches. What a clever way to spread the disease. Since few I have seen or been in would notice this insidious rot; the 'respectable churches' do not do the spiritual gifts much anymore. Discernment is rare.

I fail to see the connection here. The Book of Enoch doesn't encourage the occult. Off topic.

Very true! But many assume Jude 14-15 is a direct quote from the Book of Enoch.
