So what makes anyone think that the devil can't access all of our thoughts. If he doesn't see the good thoughts then how is that he ruins and destroys them? Even during our devotions, he can subtly point us in the wrong direction.

Read all through the TORAH, PROPHETS, PSALMS and NEW TESTAMENT -

most everyone's thoughts are "from" the deevil,  so of course he "knows" them - he is in charge of most on earth.(OT and NT).

Who are the over-comers though?   See in the NT how those who overcome the devil, the flesh , the world, and temptation and fiery trials,   are not controlled by the evil one,

and the evil one cannot ruin nor destroy those abiding IN CHRIST JESUS. (they /we/ are faithful to JESUS even unto death)

We are not controlled by the devil if we are ever on guard because satan as a lion walks about seeking whom he may devour. That is addressed to those in Christ. The admonishment then is that we resist him in/by/with our faith in God's Word. It was Peter who wrote that. He thought he'd said a right and good thing, but Jesus indicated that the thought had come from the devil. We only need resist as long as the testing lasts. When we endure by the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ, the devil flees.

Or is it supposed that Jesus was thinking bad thoughts and that is how the devil could tempt him?

Peter had a thought that Jesus said came from the devil, but Peter didn't know that it was from the devil. It sounded right and good to him. "God forbid that you are martyred!" Peter must of thought that Jesus had gotten discouraged or something and sought to encourage him.

We must be as sure as we can be that our thoughts are truly right and good. By thinking on things that the Bible says is good.

Very stange statement, "the Devil spents his time in Heaven".

Very strange indeed.

Just thing about that...

Thank you for the reference, and why do you see it so literally grafic, .

Just think what you are suggesting as a fact .

How could that be possible?

That is contrary to the wholesome view of the Gospel, and the general intent of what we read in the new testiment.

Perhaps you have read what the apostle Paul wrote to Christians to "cast down every vain imagination and unrighteous thought that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God." So even though you have knowledge of God you still have to cast down opposing thoughts. And Jesus taught that when the sower sows the word satan comes immediately to take away the word that was sown. Therefore the more of the word of God you get, the more you have to resist the devil who will be active to steal it. However, the intention of the teachings was to encourage the believer that we can overcome through Jesus Christ.

These and the other verses I've already mentioned gives evidence that it's not contrary at all.

Sorry, perhaps it is me the way I put it, that made you, (if), take it personally, I apologize for that.

The reference to "Job", about the devil standing before God in the Heaven and accusing the people, is not to make it a literal imagination and actually see the devil in Heaven standing before God and the Devil accusing the people of God.

It cannot be taken that way for a number of reasons.

First the Devil when he rebelled against God lost his holines, and for that reason he fell from Heaven, never to return again.

Nothing unholy can be in Heaven.

So no one can say that the Devil travells and enters the most holy place of Heaven where is the Throne of God, and or that God has alloted time to the Devil by way of an audience in the Heavens where the Devil gets time to accuse the people of God.

God can know the thoughts of anyone and so he can know the thoughts of the Devil addressing to him as he was watching Job and the thoughts of Job bosting in his prosperity and his protection from God by means of been perfect in his self righteousness and offerings to God.

We are not to take things we read in the bible so literal as in the "new earth and new heaven and the new underworld.

Or as the stars will fall in the earth.

We know that " a star maybe too many times the size of the earth.

The moon turning in blood and loosing it's light.

The disciples not only them but even Moses and the Jews never teach those words in Job in the literal form.

So to the contrary in the old T , they teach that nothing unholy can be in the presence of God.

And also in the book of Revelation, we don't fine anything to encourage the suggestion that the Devil can ascent in Heaven and stand in the presence of God, or this time is Jesus Christ who sits on the Throne of God and rules and rains and is the Judge of all.

The Devil is allowed on earth but not in Heaven.

And Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit is allowed on earth but not in Hell.

Sorry about that, is not personal,  is not about you.

Hi, i want to ask your opinion about one thing. Because different pastors saying different things. We all know that our Lord Knows each thought in our mind, Knows each word we are going to say. He perfectly Knows every move of our brain. And what about devil? Some pastors say that devil can NOT read all our thoughts...he only can see those thoughts which he dropped inside of our minds...but he can not see the rest of em... What you think? If in my thoughts i require smth secretly to my Almighty God without speaking out a word and i want it to be only between me and my Lord, can devil catch it to ruin and try to destroy it etc, as he usually does. Because he is a liar and a thief

Satan does not have the ability to know our thoughts. Only God has that ability. People give Satan way too much power. Also people are way too obsessed with demonic activity and Satan. They should ignore him. God is in control.

The summation of it all.   FOLLOW JESUS and their is no need to fear anything .     Some get wrapped up in the levels of demon realm or how many generals satan has or what demon

is called what name.   WE DONT NEED TO KNOW ANY OF THAT .     IF we want to be able to overcome evil.  JUST FOLLOW THE ONE WHO DONE OVERCAME ALL EVIL.  JESUS THE LORD.

We don't need to study the enemy to defeat the enemy, we don't need to know the enemy to be able to overcome the wiles of the enemy.  JESUS done defeated He who held all power

over sin and death.   JUST FOLLOW THE LAMB who overcame the world and by our fiath in Him we too shall overcome to the end .  amen.   THAT SIMPLE that easy.  JUST FOLLOW CHRIST .
