Anyone remember the Larry Black show? The local rock station would play that on Sunday mornings. That was when I first started listening to Christian rock a good 40 years ago or so. Going from only knowing about hymns to hearing Christian rock was an amazing transition for me. It was my first exposure to the idea that Christianity was not restricted to a particular culture and tradition rooted centuries in the past. I did a Bing search on a few names and ran across a few clips of the old Larry Black show. Hearing his voice brought back some old memories. I'm not sure I'd ever seen a picture of him before. Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill, Daniel Amos, DeGarmo and Key, Keith Green, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Phil Keaggy, Petra, Barry McGuire, Michael Omartian, GiantKiller, Talbot Brothers, Maybe more will come back to me later. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
