There will be NO pre-trib rapture, so next on the agenda will be the ramping up of the tribulation components.

See ya on the way up to the clouds before the tribulation starts there Justin :D

This sounds like the SECOND COMING to me.  I don’t see how you can think the second coming is the NEXT event.  Lots has to happen BEFORE.......

That of course is the common outlook, but it is not scriptural, and simply misunderstood.

In fact, that next event has occurred with many already. You see, when Christ, who was the First of those born again of the spirit of God said, "It is finished", it set the wheels in motion for the Holy Spirit to facilitate the born again process of "Christ in us", which is the correct understanding of the rapture - that moment when we die to the flesh "with" Christ on the cross, and become a new creation, which is to say, "it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us."

But, if you choose to look at these events as not being crucified and raised up "with Christ"...then...you're not (with Christ). That is the very definition of being "with Christ."

Which, as Paul preach, will definitely require a "renewing of your mind." But that is how it is written. If you don't believe me, just go back to all the passages and pay closer attention to the proper "tense" used...it's been there all along.

As for the other events...their timing also comes out different, if seen properly.

John alluded to these truths, saying: "Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."

...The problem, is although Jesus went to the Father (whom is spirit), we have not seen Him as such, which we should have expected when He came to us in spirit...therefore, we have not seen Him, meaning, for many, He is still at the door, but they have not greeted Him in spirit and let Him in. Or worse, they opened the door and He came in while they were unaware. All of which is according to what He himself said.

Thanks for answering, Rick.

i hear what you are saying about no signs are needed for the rapture to occur, but can you be more specific here. Do you see the RAPTURE as the next event, or do you see something else?

For example, before 1948, if you said the RAPTURE can occur next, is that really true?  No, Israel had to become a nation agsin, right?  So that event had to happen before the rapture.

Hey Spock,

I get the distinct impression the Apostle Paul believed the Rapture could happen in in life time when he included himself as "we" in I Thess 4: 15 - 17. I think the doctrine of imminency applied even in Paul's time. Had the Rapture occurred prior to May 14, 1948, could that event have stopped Israel from becoming a nation?

Hi Spock,

My thoughts are -

Past -

1. Ps. 83 war has happened - the 6 day war.

2. Temple  which the A/C will desecrate is already there.

To come -

1. 2018. Economic crash - So the next prophetic event is the economic crash which will lead us to the `days pay for a loaf of bread.` Great economic hardship & that will probably be this year.

2. 2019. Peace in Iraq by the peace negotiator. he needs to have some credibility in Peace negotiations for the world to let him broker a deal with Israel. And he needs to be from that area.

3. 2020. The Russian War. (Russian Federation, with Iran, Ethiopia and Libya - gathering even now just over the border of Israel) In God`s timing though.

4. 2020.The `catching away` of the mature Body of Christ to its eternal setting in the third heaven where they will judge the fallen angels and the world system in the trib.

regards, Marilyn.

Say hey there Marilyn!

Question: Do you believe the Bible is accurate when it lists the ancient geographical areas and countries, such as in Psalm 83: and Ezekiel 38: - 39:? Along with the occupants who reside in those geographical countries and areas?

Compare the countries and peoples involved in the 6 day war, and compare them to the Psalm 83: war to note the differences, exclusions and inclusions. They're not compatible if scripture is accurate. At no time in history is there a record of the nations listed in Psalm 83: all attacking Israel.

Hi Dennis,

Well let`s have a closer look -

Within six days, Israel had won a decisive land war. Israeli forces had taken control of the Gaza Strip and the Sinai Peninsula from Egypt, the West Bank and East Jerusalem from Jordan, and the Golan Heights from Syria.

Psalm 83.

V. 1 - 5 We see the enemies of God & Israel are conspiring together saying `Come let us wipe them out as a nation.`

In 1967 different countries around Israel took counsel together with one accord to destroy Israel from being a nation. For the first time in history these countries forgot their differences. They formed a confederacy to declare a `Jehud` - holy war to wipe the name of Israel from remembrance. These actual words were frequently broadcast over Radio Cairo & published in world newspapers. Unknowingly they were practically quoting directly from prophecy given 25 centuries ago. (Ps. 83: 4)

V. 6 - 8 Even the participants were accurately delineated - under ancient names.

ANCIENT NAME.....................MODERN NAME

Edom, Moab, Ammon................Jordan
Hagarenes, Amalek, Philistines...Egypt
Ishmaelites......................Arabia
Gebal, Tyre......................Lebanon
Assyria..........................Syria, Iraq

V. 9 - 18 And what was the outcome?
`Fill their faces with dishonour,....let them be ashamed & dismayed...let them be humiliated.....` (V. 16 & 17)
The Ps. 83 war had the inner ring, while the Ez. 38 & 39 war will include the outer nations - Iran, Ethiopia and Libya.

Hey Marilyn!

Well, let's have a much closer looksee at the participants.

The six day war primary foes to Israel were Egypt, Jordan and Syria. With some assistance and air support from; Pakistan, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

The Psalm 83: war is a confederation of nations to include; the tabernacles of Edom (the principle of first mention), they are the Palestinian Refugees, southern Jordan (descendants of Esau), Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Arabs south of Israel, Tyre - Hezbollah and southern Lebanon, Assur (Syria).

By the way, what do you make out of Psalms 83: 3 "hidden ones"? Could this be an illusion to the Rapture?

Hi Dennis,

Ps. 83: 3 `They have taken crafty counsel against your people, and consulted together against your sheltered ones.`

If you know about the format of the Psalms there is often Parallelism, meaning one line is repeated in a different way, but still the same meaning.

eg ` O my God, make them like the whirling dust,

Like the chaff before the wind.`

` As the fire burns the woods,

And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,...` (Ps. 83:  13 & 14)

Thus I would say that God is referring to Israel.

Marilyn.

Lebanon really wasn’t in the 6 day War. They provided I think one airplane and no men.

Iraq provided men.
