AMEN! There's an eternal lesson to be learned on what Jesus was making a comparison to. When you ponder Mt 18: 2-4 it makes very good sense about faith and trust. A child inherently has faith, trust and security in his father and believes everything he says. Generally a child is humble and obedient until the point the child gets to questioning his fathers wisdom and starts making bad decisions on his or her own.

That's how I interpret the verses meaning anyway.

Me too Dennis. Well said :)

There will be Christians until the end, but as far as his word.

Matthew chapter 24 verse 35

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

You do not  believe in a rapture of the Christian population then ?

BTW Justin, what's your opinion on the Bible code (sequencing) they're trying to unlock from the Torah?

A botanist bathes, worrying about spoors in the water.
A biologist bathes, thinking of what diseases may be present.
An existentialist bathes, and cannot feel the water.

A kid bathes and has FUN SPLASHING.

You question is a little too small and restrictive. Why not ask for the code of the particulate matter locked in the materials and the numbers for the trace elements found on the parchment and ink.

I think sometimes we try to darn God's socks, not being aware that He never wore them.

As the apostle said, (paraphrased). Hey dude; look around you; see that wonder of it all; that is God! He is self evident in all His Creation.

Matthew chapter 24 verse 22

"If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

I believe the bible, I don't think mine says rapture.

How about  " caught up " then  ?

" Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds                                                                                                                                                           to meet the Lord in the air ...."                ( 1 Thessalonians 4 ;17 )

Of course ....

Yet another example of the pre-tribulationist  view being completely congruent with God's Word being fulfilled during the tribulation as stated , face value , without qualification .

The Word alone will bring forth the "elect " during the tribulation.

No assistance from super - duper  Christians  required.

No interpretive interjection of super-duper Christians  needed .

Only the Word .

His Word will never " pass away "  period , and will always be in full saving effect , unto the uttermost .

God's eternal Word alone is able to bring forth the " elect " Jews from Israel  during this tribulation period , as it will never " pass away " .  Not even with every Christian gone from the planet .

Whereas the post-tribulationist view requires the ad-hoc  modification  that presence of  believers will be needed by God ,  to lend God assistance in bringing forth the " elect " from  the nation Israel .

God not being able to go it alone during the tribulation the post-tribulationist would have you believe .

                                                                      " John did no miracle ."        ( John 10 : 41 )
