Mary is not the mother of God. Mary is the mother of Jesus, the man. As the Word (John 1:1), He had not beginning, no mother, as a man (John 1:14), He had a beginning and a mother.

This and Mark. 3:31-35; shows Jesus warning not to put His mother in a position above what she is....His earthly mother only. And Mary was not sinless as the RCC teaches, she had sin and needed forgiveness as we all do.

Luke 1:46-47, And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, V, 47, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Not according to Elizabeth or Christian theologians and scholars throughout history.

Doesn't mean scripture alone is sufficient, it is profitable.

In your opinion.

Exodus 36:35-37:9 where, per the instructions of God, Moses has images of cherubim embroidered into the curtains of the tabernacle and statues of the same cast for the Ark of the Covenant.

Moses did as he was instructed. God never told Moses to worship or bow down to the cherubim which were embroidered into the curtains or the ark.

Then God commanded Moses to make graven images and Jesus was an idol worshipper for praying in a temple with images.

God never commanded Moses to make any graven images, and Jesus was not an idol worshiper at any time anywhere. Read your bible, forget the RCC and its mumbo jumbo.

Hebrews 4:15, For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 9:28, So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

You mean catholic theologians. Show us ONE Scripture where Elizabeth states that Mary was the mother of God, or says Mary is or was the mother of God. One would be enough? I know the catholic rosary, which is of pagan origan repeatedly says, holy Mary mother of God, but that's an RCC pagan tradition of repetitive prayer.

Because its not a graven image, neither are icons we just venerate them, as Moses venerated the Cherubim.

In I Kings 6:23-36; 7:27-39; 8:6-67 - Solomon's temple contains statues of cherubim and images of cherubim, oxen and lions. God did not condemn these images that were used in worship.

From these we know for a fact at-least in the very beginning Jews used images to help them in prayer or worship.

According to Luke Jesus prayed in the temple in John 12.

“Why should I be honored with a visit from the mother of my Lord?" (Luke 1:43).

Theres no historical evidence the rosary was used by any religion prior to the Catholic Church.

Mary was not the mother of God.   Mary was the mother of Jesus' humanity.  The Greek word "Lord"   Jesus is God and Jesus became flesh, meaning that Jesus as God pre-existed Mary.  Therefore Mary is not the mother of God.
