I believe the same too... The technology is there, and it is very capable of achieving that after some more improvements.

I do not believe it will be Bitcoin... But it seems something superior that will come up with improvements and make that possible.

They could implement a global system that would allow only certain people to buy and sell, and certainly much more control and information than that.

 

I believe paper money and physical coins days are numbered... In the whole world.

Fedcoin would give the government God-like ability to track wealth. The justification will be to prevent criminal activities such as drug dealing and money laundering.

The efficiency would be so much greater, however, that the difference of degree would become one of kind. The government could “prohibit anything without even passing a law….If your Fedcoin smartphone or chip isn’t programmed to let you buy that, how are you going to get it?” Politically controversial items, like a gun registry, could become irrelevant.

One of Casey’s dystopian predictions seems doubtful to me, however. It is the idea that many or most Americans would embrace being physically “chipped.” But, then, I may simply have more confidence in average people when it comes to recognizing their own self-interest

Some good thoughts there.

Now the IMF (International Monetary Fund) is now the actual World`s central bank. The main countries plus China recently, are all in the `basket` of currencies together. Then China recently has done deals with Saudi Arabia, Iran & Russia for them to take China`s yuan instead of US dollars for oil. This is HUUUUGGGE. This lessens the power of the dollar and we are seeing a domino effect across the financial markets.

So,.... good to keep some cash on hand as there can often be a rush on the banks and they don`t keep much in their vaults. ATM`s will only then give a bit or close. The wobble will probably go on for a while till countries get on line with the IMF as central bank and the new system envelopes all.

As the article said, - `People will vote with their wallets` as it will be easier to use the digital `currency` that is accepted world wide rather than the local one.

And much sooner than realized .     we already buy with our phones and etc.    

just wait .  give it a bit more time and watch WHO pushes this idea more than ever onto the masses.    SUPRISE < SUPRISE it will be the one world religion that

really helps this seem as such a glorious cause for world peace .   the false prophet , is the one that causes the world to both worship the beast and take the mark of that political beast system.

OOOPS.   think the one world interfaith religion was really all about LOVE ................WRONG it was all about duping the masses.    and its working on many and will increase .

 If a person is really worried about tomorrow they had better have physical consumable assets on hand that make for food.

Paper currency? Don't think so.

As for me, I am not going to worry about tomorrow, for today has enough troubles of it's own for me. So instead, I am going to praise God enjoy the sunshine, the rain,  the laughter of a grandchild, the treasure of a wife. I am not going to use any entity nor agency as a foil for my own failings or allow  a sense of helplessness to pervade my life and worry my  mind. 

If I fail  it is on me not any agency nor any government. I will trust in Jesus and know my eternity  to come is secure by His love and His sacrifice made for me.

On the "Phoenix" currency: The Economist is not a prophet either, but that article makes a lot of sense because you can't build a new world system without destroying the existing one. That's going to be messy.

Hi Walla,

Just another thought. The globalists who desire a one world have written their plan in their magazine the Economist. It is not a secret or a conspiracy theory, but a plan by the globalists and their elite. The steps to the EU having the same currency was the plan in a small region & now they are doing similar  across the world. They actually think it is for all our good!!!!
