21 No man of the descendants of Aaron the priest, who has a defect, shall come near to offer the offerings made by fire to the Lord. He has a defect; he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God. 22 He may eat the bread of his God, both the most holy and the holy; 23 only he shall not go near the veil or approach the altar, because he has a defect, lest he profane My sanctuaries; for I the Lordsanctify them.’ ”

24 And Moses told it to Aaron and his sons, and to all the children of Israel.

Lev. 22:1-2

The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Tell Aaron and his sons to treat with respect the sacred offerings the Israelites consecrate to me, so they will not profane my holy name. I am the Lord.

“Say to them: ‘For the generations to come, if any of your descendants is ceremonially unclean and yet comes near the sacred offerings that the Israelites consecrate to the Lord, that person must be cut off from my presence. I am the Lord."

“None of the offspring of Aaron who has a leprous disease or a discharge may eat of the holy things until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean through contact with the dead or a man who has had an emission of semen, and whoever touches a swarming thing by which he may be made unclean or a person from whom he may take uncleanness, whatever his uncleanness may be— the person who touches such a thing shall be unclean until the evening and shall not eat of the holy things unless he has bathed his body in water.”

"When the sun goes down, he will be clean, and after that he may eat the sacred offerings, for they are his food.

He must not eat anything found dead or torn by wild animals, and so become unclean through it. I am the LORD."

Now imagine a Great High preist who had no defect WITHIN and we will know WHO the ultimate savoir truly was going to be .

For GOD looks not upon the outside , but on the inside .     That savoir could cleanse of sin as pertains to even the inner conscious .    AND WE KNOW WHO HE WAS AND IS .

NO blemish was found on the inside of THAT HIGH PRIEST who offered not up the blood of bulls for sin , BUT HIS OWN BLOOD .

Now let all raise those hands and praise the HOLY LORD CHRIST JESUS the KING .

No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God. 22 He may eat the most holy food of his God, as well as the holy food; 23 yet because of his defect, he must not go near the curtain or approach the altar, and so desecrate my sanctuary. I am the Lord, who makes them holy.’”Lev.21:21-23
