'And he (Noah) said,
.. Cursed be Canaan;
.... a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
And he said,
.. Blessed be the LORD God of Shem
.... and Canaan shall be his servant.
...... God shall enlarge Japheth,
........ and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem;
.......... and Canaan shall be his servant.'

(Gen 9:25-27)

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

'I form the light, and create darkness:
I make peace, and create evil:
I the LORD do all these things.'
(Isa 45:7)

Note:
'evil' ('raraah' - H7451) refers to the calamity that is brought about as the inevitable consequence of sin. It is never rendered 'sin'. Also translated, 'adversity' and 'grief', 'misery' and 'trouble.

'And Cush begat Nimrod
he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
He was a mighty hunter before the LORD:
wherefore it is said,
Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel,
and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh,
in the land of Shinar.'

(Gen 10:8-10)

Praise God! Here we see the inception of Babylon (Gen.11; Gen.14; Isaiah 11:11; Dan.1:2)
