And if a soul sin,
.. and commit any of these things
.... which are forbidden to be done
...... by the commandments of the LORD;
........ though he wist it not,
.......... yet is he guilty,
and shall bear his iniquity.
And he shall bring a ram
.. without blemish out of the flock,
.... with thy estimation,
...... for a trespass offering,
........ unto the priest:
and the priest
.. shall make an atonement for him
.... concerning his ignorance
...... wherein he erred and wist it not,
........ and it shall be forgiven him.
It is a trespass offering
he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.'

(Leviticus 5:17-19)

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

3Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

(Leviticus 6:1-3)

4Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

5Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

(Leviticus 6:4-5)

8And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold. 9And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. 10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:8-10)

6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

7And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

8And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

9Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

(Leviticus 6: 6-9)

10And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

11And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

12And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13*The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

(Leviticus 6:12-13)

Fire was to be kept constantly burning upon the altar without going out, not in order that the heavenly fire, which proceeded from Jehovah when Aaron and his sons first entered upon the service of the altar after their consecration, and consumed the burnt-offerings and peace-offerings, might never be extinguished (see at Leviticus 9:24); * but that the burnt-offering might never go out, because this was the divinely appointed symbol and visible sign of the uninterrupted worship of Jehovah, which the covenant nation could never suspend either day or night, without being unfaithful to its calling. For the same reason other nations also kept perpetual fire burning upon the altars of their principal gods. (Source: Keil & Delitzsch Commentary on the Old Testament)

See HOW the SPIRIT puts the law on our hearts .     for It was written , YET NOW was on zaccheus heart .    love fulfills the law , it don't make void the law .

SPot on right dear sister .   Spot on right .      For its the new covenant ,  that HE will write HIS laws upon our hearts and if we have the LOVE that comes FROM GOD on our heart

HE is honored above all and truly we see how to love others , NOT AS THIS WORLD DOES , but as the LORD gives us , HIS LOVE .     You put those hands up dear sister .

And let a praise of thanksgiving be UNTO THE LORD .

This brings up something most have forgotten .   called REPENTANCE .    WE don't jus walk in willfull sin and do evil and justify It and call God love .

IF one errs they REPENT , aka not just saying sorry , but ceasing the evil and doing good , making repayment if necessary .

Several examples .   If a gay man comes to Christ ,  HE don't just stay in his evil and call God love.  True repentance means sorrowing from the evil and doing good in the stead of the evil .

example .  If two gay men or women are married ,  and other spouse finds Christ , they aint gonna stay in that evil marriage or evil relationship .

Aka , let him that did evil do evil no more .  or as paul once said , let him that stole , steal no more .     REPENTANCE aint saying sorry and remaiing in sin , nor is it

trying to justify the evil .   The goodness of GOD leads us to repentance ,   a new man ,  wherein dwells the HOLY GHOST and the die daily battle begins .

14 And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the Lord, before the altar.

15 And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the Lord.

(Leviticus 6:14-15)

2 Cor 2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: 16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it. (Leviticus 6:16)
