This is wonderful! Well-written, true, and with bible verses to back it up. I'm bookmarking this.

Since the Lord speaks to us primarily through his word, that is most likely where we will hear his voice. When reading your bible pray and meditate on his word, and ask the Lord questions such as: what are you saying to me? or how does this apply to my life? Then be still and listen, giving the Lord time to speak to your spirit. The more we listen, the more we will hear his voice, and soon your time with him will be your greatest joy ( Matt. 7:7,8 ), ( John 14:13 ), and ( James 1:6 ).

This is where I often struggle. Thank you for the suggestions about asking God questions. The paragraph makes good sense.

God bless you for caring & sharing! :)

Thank you, but this sermon was inspired by the Holy Spirit and had nothing to do with me. God says my power and praise I will not give to another. Isa. 42:8

May God Bless You ,

Your Brother in Christ,
