My girlfriend broke up with me 5 days ago (she is 45 & I'm 49).  I'm not sure why she has broken things off and does not want to talk about it or to me.  She is depressed due to her youngest daughter graduating high school and has trust issues in general.  We have dated for 11 months and I have loved, cared for, and respected her and she has for me as well.  I have attempted to reach out to her, I apologized for anything I may have done or said, and sent her scripture relating to relationships but with no response.  I'm sure there is not another man and I do believe she loves me but I'm not sure what to do.  I have been praying but I don't know if I should just cut off all contact or should I send her messages just to let her know I still care and want to work things out?  The worldly man in me thinks I should not contact her at all and wait, but as a Christian should I just cut loose someone who I love?

Thanks

I think any time there is a refusal to communicate, it is a sign of serious issues.  How does one commit to another when there is no communication?  Also, it is not clear in your OP if this is a real life relationship, or an online one?  It sounds like from what you are saying that this is a long distance relationship, and I can say from experience that often in those situations nothing is as it seems.
