I think that the biggest value is the detailed descriptions of why they chose particular ways of translating things. This is the type of thing that all translators do, but it is usually hidden from the reader. Overall, my first impression of the NET bible as implemented with the study tool is positive. I was asking this question for our daughter, she very much likes to get this Bible and I told her that I would try to get some opinions from you guys , there are so many inaccurate translations, Thanks !!!
