Hi. So, we have a classmate at school that sometimes speaks without thinking. And he can become really annoying. Some guys of my class call him "idiot" and tell him to shut up. But I think that guy is not an idiot after all, I think it is more based on his choice. I've got OCD and it just tells me that if I'm not going to defend him, God will actually punish me and make me like him.

No, God is not going to punish you and make you "like" him for not defending him.

Those boys who are calling him "idiot" are speaking without thinking exactly like this young man is.  They are no different.

Pray for him and be kind to him.

And... am I arrogant if I just don't like spending time with him because of our different intellect level?

I wouldn't call it arrogance.  It's more of a feeling of being uncomfortable with his disability.

But remember, Jesus hung around those who made society uncomfortable and loved them.

Include him when you can with your friends and always, always be kind.

Jayne is so right...be kind to him, and others, too.   Do unto others as we would have others do unto us, as Jesus taught us.

Remember that every person is made special, in their own way.  This young man may not be book smart like others, or maybe not even have common sense as most see it, but one day he could come up with an invention that makes your life easier.  You never know what one is capable of, and regardless of how smart you think they are, they are still a person, just like you.  They have feelings, they have a heart, they have a mind, and they want to be accepted for who they are, just as you do.

God bless
