Same difference. Nothing can exist outside the presence of God. He is omnipresent.

To not be present with God is to not exist.

Colossians 1:17

He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

Separation from God doesn't mean living outside of His presence.  God is omnipresent.  That means that God is in Hell, too.  He will be there for all eternity in judgment on those who are there.

Well, yeah. I'm talking about the second death, of course. The one that DOES lead to the cessation of existence. The first death is only the cessation of existence of the body. The soul gets death at the second death. At least, according to the bible Actually, even death itself is destroyed and ceases to exist. It's all about that lake of fire thing.

That is where you are wrong.  The Bible does not say that the second death is a cessation of existence.   You are imposing that meaning on the text.

Hell is burned up in the lake of fire.

That fire isn't physical fire like we have in our experience.  And the spiritual bodies will never go out of existence.  God will be there in Hell or the lake of fire, whichever and He will be there in judgment for all eternity, 'cause God is omnipresent.

So what?   Death, in spiritual sense isn't extinction.

Contextually speaking, death is the opposite of life. BTW, regarding the lake of fire, I agree that it is probably not fire as we think of it, just as the sun is not actually fire, but a nuclear reaction.  And yes, it is possible that the spiritual bodies will never go out of existence. That includes the devil, the beast and the false prophet. The people that are thrown in are not spiritual beings. They are killed, both body and soul, just as Jesus warned could happen: "And you should not be afraid of those killing the body but not being able to kill the soul. Indeed rather you should fear the One being able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna."

Edit: Just to be clear, I used the word "possible" because we don't know. Can God kill a spirit? Undoubtedly. There is no reason whatsoever to believe otherwise. So it's His choice.

Shalom, shiloh357.

Backwards, brother. The fire is indeed a physical fire, but what would happen if a resurrected body that CANNOT DIE is put to the fire? If that body can feel pain, then the punishment is eternal. You're right, though; God WILL be there in the Lake of Fire and Sulfur, making SURE the punished know it is because of how they treated His SON!

No, it is not a physical fire.  It will be a supernatural environment.

Just think about it. What's so "supernatural" about an ENVIRONMENT? Don't answer; just consider the possibility (which happens to be the truth).

What I am saying is that the conditions will be supernatural, not anything like here on earth.
