I rarely if ever quote Ellicott but I was looking for an explanation within the Old Testament which would permit an understanding of light to include understanding. And an understanding of darkness to include ignorance and chaos. I think the text permit and some texts use a translation of chaos. My only goal here was to make sure the translation speaks to the people of Moses time, and is not biased by later apostolic texts in the New Testament. I made my point, you made your point.
