The Church does have the ability and the resources to solve the problems of poverty and homelessness in America, so I was only pointing out the obvious in my last post. The average Evangelical Christian in America only gives about 4% of their income to the church they attend, and 97% of that money stays inside the church. That deserves criticism. I gave an expanded response on the subject in this thread The Church is not tasked with resolving homelessness and poverty. The Church's commission is to preach the Gospel, not end poverty and homelessness. You need to get off the liberal, far left social justice garbage.
