What rebellious hearts we have How long can we spurn His love? I have tears in my eyes. How true and convicting! I love your poem. Thanks for sharing it. I'm touched and glad to have found a poet among us with a heart for the Lord. I've been writing some (on and off) since the 5th grade. I found out from George that he could create a poetry club. Imo, it would be a nice addition to Worthy to have a place where we could share our own (as well as favorites by other poets.) But not sure who would participate or head it... What do you think? One might have to be careful not to violate copyright laws, and always credit the one who wrote it, but yes I mean lyrics from various songs as well as poems. And you make a good point. In essence, I agree with that sentiment. However, there are published poets who have written uplifting poems we could share. Ones that have personally ministered to us and could serve as a source of encouragement to one other. I guess I was thinking along those lines. Ayin Jade mentioned praise and there are such good songs with lyrics we could post. So on the one hand, I do see your reasoning. But I see the other side, too.
