You seem to be saying that everyone is saved by Jesus' death on the cross.

I'm not saying that. Jesus did die for everyone's sins, but I don't believe your saved by that.

And I'm not saying Hitler went to heaven or hell, that's up to god, not me.

Matthew chapter 25 verses 31-46
When the Son of Man comes" in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. he will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. Then the King will say to those on his right, Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and got visit you? The King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me. Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.They also will answer, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you? He will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.

Is that what you believe?

That's not what I believe.

James chapter 4 verse 12

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?

I don't judge anyone, I know some people are cruel and selfish, they've accepted Christ as the savior, but it's up to God not us.

How am I not serving in a community of unbelievers?   I live very near a mosque and Little Bangladesh (Muslims).  I live in secular L.A.

My dearest friends are from Bangladesh and were raised as Muslims...have known them for almost 19 years.   I attended a birthday party for their little girl with about 30 Muslims.  I have friends who were raised as Hindus.  My mother and I helped Kavitha decorate for a baby shower.  All of the other guests were from India and raised as Hindus.  When their parents came from India I not only was invited to meet both sets of in-laws, but sometimes went out with Kavitha's mother.

In all the years I've known the above people, they have never said anything negative about Christians!!  Instead they have been very happy to know Christians and are happier going out with us (the Muslim raised wife told me that).   They understand that not everyone in the USA is a Christian.

Maybe instead of you continually dwelling on the many sins of so-called "Christians", you should be encouraging true Christians to reach out to others in Christian love?   Think of this: if you are married and you continually dwell and complain about your wife's perceived faults or sins, I think she would soon get tired of that abuse from you.  Instead why not praise and encourage her?   Likewise, why not praise and encourage true Christians instead of continually dwelling on the negatives of some who claim to be a Christian?

two questions .  number one .  HOW many of them have you told that JESUS is the ONLY WAY to be saved and that they must repent of their old gods and accept CHRIST as the ONLY SAVOIR .  NUMBER two ,  IF you have done this ,   HAVE they all received CHRIST .   IF not ,  JESUS said whoever receives it not ,   YOU Part company with , YOU even shake the dust off your feet.

How bout we preach the TRUE GOSPLE and FOLLOW what JESUS told us to do .

Fixed that for you; if you feel the need to capitalize only one of these, make sure you know which one deserves capitalization.

You find fault with typing, is that all you can do.

Why don't you find more use for this, rather than spelling, this is perfect, I'm not.

Matthew chapter 4 verse 4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
Romans chapter 1 verse 28
Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.

John chapter 8 verse 31,32
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, " If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
2 John
Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
Job chapter 23 verse 12
I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.

Matthew 11
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Luke chapter 21
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
Romans chapter 10
17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Mark chapter 13
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
James chapter 1
25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
James chapter 4
Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
Isaiah chapter 45 verse 19
I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness; I have not said to Jacob's descendants, 'Seek me in vain.' I, the LORD, speak the truth; I declare what is right.
Jeremiah chapter 9
24 but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
    justice and righteousness on earth,
    for in these I delight,”
declares the Lord.
Jeremiah chapter 5 verse 1
“Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem,
    look around and consider,
    search through her squares.
If you can find but one person
who deals honestly and seeks the truth,
    I will forgive this city.
Psalm 119 verse 114
You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.

1 (Luke 10:7) and 2 (Mal 3-10) are biblical. The rest are just a business, which is prophetic (2 Peter 2:3).

Why do you think they are just a business?

With the help of the Holy Spirit, I pray to sow and water the seeds of the Gospel, believing that God will give the increase.   My friends do not reject the message of the Gospel or of Christ.   They do not actually follow Islam (a good first step!).

It sometimes takes many, many years for someone raised as a Muslim to finally come to Christ, as apostasy and being killed or disowned by their families has been hung over their heads.   Some old time missionaries to the Muslim world often saw few or no converts.

Here on the forum, I met a young man from Saudi Arabia.   When he studied in the USA, he noticed what Christians were like.... peaceful and kind, this made an impression on him as he had been taught differently about us.  After he returned to his homeland, he then searched about the Lord and accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord!

Many Muslims are now having visions of Christ, and coming to Christ as their Savior.    God is working in mysterious ways to bring Muslims to Himself!

I appreciate any prayers for my friends.   Thank you!

You don't think that we are saved by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross?

Jesus' death was to pay the death penalty for our sins, in order to bring us to God.  The Bible emphasizes Jesus' work on the cross as the basis and means of our salvation.

Outside of that, there is no salvation for anyone.   If you are not trusting in Jesus alone for salvation and if your faith is not based on His finished work on the cross, then you have no  salvation.

Jesus did die for the sins of the whole world, according to my bible.  1 John 2:2  "He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world."

But.    John 14:6    "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
There's the rub.

John 3:16-17  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
A person is not saved, as john said, by the sacrificial death of Christ, if they do not believe, by faith.
I cannot talk for some one else, and there is much in john's posts I do not agree with, but that is how I took it on this one.
